For example: Beverly knows how to make a "killer" grilled cheese sandwich that taste so good it's like your taking a bite of heaven. Or Josh's mom knows how to throw down in the kitchen when she makes grilled chicken.

I can understand the grilled chicken part. Because anyone who eats grilled chicken makes theirs in a certain way that comes out tasting good...or bad. But a grilled cheese sandwich? How do you make something so simple taste better than most? Like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's not that hard to make(unless you never had it before) in all honesty. I don't know maybe I see things differently and I'm too focused on the little things. If you don't find it weird then that is fine with me. I guess I am the minority but that's okay.

Are you good at making simple food better than most people?

Ur darn tootin, I can prepare some killer Special K Cereal.

- ¾ cereal
- ¼ dehydrated strawberries

- Mix then press contents down with hand as you pour milk to prevent cereal bits from overflowing out of the bowl.

- Hold until contents have absorbed enough milk to stay in bowl.

Enjoy.

Hehe, they never put enough freeze-dried berries in the cereal.

So, you add your own berries or other fruits to your cereal? But that is something most people do though.
What do you do differently? Add fresh fruits?

For a like, totally killer grilled cheese:
2 slices of medium thick Italian bread
a quarter of TB of unsalted butter
a small handful of blended cheese (I prefer cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan)

Set on medium heat in the pan, melt butter, put in both pieces of bread, cover with cheese, remove when cheese just starts to get gooey. The outside should be lightly browned. Boom, a tubular grilled cheese. /dab

I don't know, 250GB of butter doesn't seem like enough to me.

Nah.. I'm just the opposite. I make complicated shit with ease. Can't make the simplest things worth a damn............

Except pie crust. Errybody raves about my pie crust.

There's two secrets to it: moar shortening, and the "don't fuck with it". principle.

(most people work the dough too much trying to make it perfect. The extra shortening is simply because if you're too reliant on water, you get a lot of gluten, which means tough crust.)
