Sooo I just discovered someone got my password and was using my account to watch anime.

Would've probably let them keep doing that, but they were ruining reputation with all the ecchi anime so I changed my password instead

Is there any way to see who was logging in? Or nada

As far as the system is concerned, you were logging in.

If you could convince CR to share the log of IP connections using your account and then convince the ISP that owns that IP address to tell you who it was registered to at that time, then you may get close to working out who it was.

However, if it was a hacker who obtained your account details the odds would be high that they were spoofing their IP at the time.

Also, along with making it a practice to not use the same id/password combination on any other websites (https://haveibeenpwned.com/), you should go here and remove any devices, or they can keep watching:

/acct/?action=devices

You may want to put in a support request, just in case they made any fraudulent charges with your stored account information...

Yeah, I already knew about that site. My password on this and a few other random sites got compromised at some point, I just never bothered to change CR because I didn't really care that much about CR. It's not like a bank or government site (which have different p/w anyway. I just used the same one on a few for the sake of laziness)

Well I can't remember if I saved the info but its so old it'd be expired anyway. I can't really buy anything from the CR shop because shipping is usually more than the actual item cost.

I probably would've just let them continue watching on my account, if they hadn't been watching such junk shows and clogging up my queue

Thanks for the tip about the devices. I'll go remove anything that's there

it would be nice if Crunchyroll put more effort into account security.

Google (and iirc Microsoft) automatically alerts you if someone logged on your account on a different device, and also tells you
when and where they logged in. they also have 2-factor authentication (Microsoft goes so far as make an entire app just to authenticate their users - not trusting even 3rd party authenticators)

Apple not only lets you know if someone logged in and which device - they allow people to force remote devices to log out of their account.
(of course, they now also have 2-factor authentication)

the most effort i've seen from Crunchyroll so far is just place the blame on their users, instead of actually making user accounts more secure.
