Synopsis:

Hana Ichinose is a very shy and introverted girl about to start high school in the spring. After moving away from her parent’s house in the city due to unforeseen circumstances, she decides to live at an apartment managed by her cousin, Shion, called Temari Heights.

A new school, new life, and wonderful new friendships. As Hana gradually opens her heart to the people around her, her life begins to unfold with exciting and cheerful moments. From playing around like children to feeling anxious like an adult...

This is an adorable and heart-warming tale about growing up…slowly.

Episode 1

These girls sure are messed up here. There's Shion and she's a riot. There's Hana, who is a year older than her classmates, Kamuri who looks like she should be in elementary school, Eiko, who is seemingly normal, and Tama who is really lively. Those girls are sure hitting it off with their quirks and everything. It just so happens that the first day is Hana's birthday, and while that threatens to expose her secret, the teacher stops at that. So those girls are getting along and it's cute to see them doing so.

Well, the show feels true to the title. If this is just another cute-girls-doing-cute-things show, I'll take a hard pass.

Never understood what’s so interesting in slice of life. It’s just boring cliche character living their boring life, i’m 100% sure these anime do have some exception and are not all like that. But most of Slice of life are like that.

Ahh this season's by the numbers CGDCT, neat and different animation style I'll give it that (I like the little stars in their eyes) but otherwise pretty generic, points for the oneesan landlady <swoon> (and the teacher was awesome) but I'm at the point with these shows of "seen one you've seen the all" so don't think I'll stick around for this. And one last thing, at the end when Hana is talking to her mother on the phone and it's her birthday and her dad is RIGHT THERE he can't take two seconds to get on the phone and wish her a happy birthday too? Damn that was cold.

Well that sure had a slow start, ha gottem.

I like how "bouncy" this show is

not like that, but this show got some fine animation compared to most cgdct. I always look forward to kirara adaptations so I'm looking forward to the rest. This also has the same director as Gochiusa so I'm expecting some good stuff.

Meh. It's cute and fun and could make for a pleasant enough watch but there's nothing really memorable here yet. Probably not a drop but probably nothing I look forward to every week either.

The art style actually reminds me a little of Magical Girl Raising Project though, which is an odd mix considering how that show was compared to this one. (unless this one will end up the same mwahahahaha)

That was much funnier than I thought. Really sweet cgdct show. I just worry about the loli lovers of CR and their reaction to this as well as the loli police.

I adored the voices and the character designs as well. I mean we basically get Kanna 2.0 but as a "teenager" And Tamate is just a joy to see.

When Kamuri was like, "My special skill is eating a lot" my mind immediately went to that scene of Kanna munching on that bug

Yep, certainly a special skill.

Anyway, I thought it was super cute, bouncy and dynamic. There was quite a lot more movement than I expected. There was a lot of flurries of hair and, in certain scenes where, in most anime, there would just be a lot of static shots with mouth movements. The characters felt more alive in this anime. I loved seeing how Eiko's whole body shaked when she laughed, like a complete belly laugh.
Definitely will continue watching this one, A-1 Pictures never disappoints with its CGDCT series and, seeing as it was directed by the director of my all time favorite CGDCT series, GochiUsa, I know it's gonna be a lot of fun!

The manga for the animes were only released a short distance apart, less than two weeks, so the similarity between the characters is likely a coincidence but, the VA being the same, that's suspicious. XD She's good though, so I can't complain.
