I'm just wondering if it's bad to multitask so much.

I tend to multitask a lot and I feel as though I should stop because I want to focus better.

What do you think?

If a person cannot juggle the tasks properly, yes, it can be a bad thing. Also, some tasks certainly benefit from garnering undivided attention. If you feel like your focus is suffering, you probably should lay off on the multitasking. Multitasking has its benefits, but it's not for everyone or every situation.

multitasking's fine so long as you respect your limits, otherwise you'll get overwhelmed and stressed out.

Thanks.

I just want to focus better which might be a little hard. But I can talk to someone about that.

depends on the situation, but since a human can't physically multitask they just assume they are. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_multitasking it is possible, but how many errors are being done. anyone can do so to a degree, but is if effective. not to mention can cause a lot of stress upon certain situations. I prefer to do one task at a time, complete and move on to another. I found out I can complete something rather easy and it's done so without many to no errors. I'm alright with this.

If I could find a way to sleep while I do my daily routine I would, but it isn't that easy.

Multitask. I do it most when cooking, drawing. Writing you have to not multitask, because then you will be distracted.

Yes and no.

Some people have the ability to multitask without affecting their concentration, focus or effectivity. this makes it a good thing because it makes them efficient.

Now. multitasking can make a person more mechanical and less detailed which drives them to making mistakes often, stressing out frequently and being impulsive. Also, multitaskers tend to not pay attention to their surroundings or the people around them much.

At the end it is as the saying goes: "Too much of anything is never good"

Depends entirely on what you're doing and how well you're doing it.

I wish I was a good multitasker. I could have gotten things done a lot faster.

By asking such a question; doesn't that mean you want to tone it down?
Multitasking is a great skill to have, but if you feel like it's wearing you down then try to slow down and concentrate on one thing or fewer things at a time.
If you've been multitasking for a long time, then you may actually find it difficult to lessen the load.
I myself feel anxious if I'm not doing several tasks at once. It's hard to slow down. Good luck.
