Believe it or not this was one of the series i was most looking forward to this season. It did not disappoint.

Superbly cute and witty. Lots of little details. The little jingles and musical queues were perfect. I for one love the voice actors so far.

Takagi is just super cute and mischievous and I love it. I can't wait to see what kind of tricks, jokes and hijinx await this series in the future.

Absolutely loved it.

I thought she sounded older as well, but I can accept it a bit more considering that she's just more mature as a character in general, as well as girls generally grow earlier than boys. Either way I think they both sound like they have already gone through puberty and would be at least 15 years old.

How old are they supposed to be? The character designs definitely make them look younger than 15 but in anime obviously it can be anything. Even though they so sound older than they look I have absolutely no problem with it as both seiyuu did a great job IMO.

Also as the above picture shows, another reason to like this show, a MC without bangs! Too cute. (I liked eyebrows girl too)

Purely judging on the school setting, uniforms, and subject matter I would say they are first years in middle school, which would put them at about 12-13 years old or so depending on where their birthdays fall.

A manga reader can correct me if I am wrong, but that's just how it looks to me.

I also thought they sounded older than they look, at least for an anime. I think it's just that we're used to really high pitched voices for little kids when listening to Japanese voices. But it didn't really bother me. Rie Takahashi and Yuki Kaji are great VAs and did a good job making Takagi and Nishikata funny.

Hmm somehow I think I liked it better in the manga. It seemed a little bit more...subtle maybe. Still fairly enjoyable though.

Super cute showdowns. The battle music in the background made me giggle even more. Looking forward to more mischief!

I suppose it's fun and all, but doesn't seem to impact too much. Unless it "improves" somehow in the next episode, i'm out.

Cute character dynamic, but if that's all there is to it I think I'll pass on a full season of it. Feels like this show would have been more effective as a short.

Takagi-san, the Master of Teasing EP 1 "Eraser" / "Day Duty" / "Funny Face" / "One Hundred Yen"

It's funny reminds me of

FIRST SPRING 2014 / Tonari no Seki-kun The Master of Killing Time is quite similiar in ways doing jokes / projects behind a book !

Opening Theme: Very nice "Iwanai kedo ne" by Yuiko Ohara

Ep 1

I'm surprised how quickly this episode flew by while I was watching it. Definitely feels like the sort of premise you would expect from a short, especially since they could have cut the episode in half and made it two. Despite that though, I really liked it. Takagi and Nishikata are perfect for each other. I really like the art and the light-hearted nature of the pranks. Plus cute romantic overtones. I do hope that Nishikata doesn't take the pranks too seriously though.

Episode 2

Nishikata and Takagi do calligraphy, and while Takagi writes the status quo, Nishikata wants Takagi to stop teasing and puts down restraint. She still teases by touching his face with ink. Then the girls didn't get the message about the uniform change. Nishikata is not paying attention in class and just when it looked like he had the chance to tease her with the number, Takagi was right on top of things. And then it's off to the pool, but thanks to an injured hand Nishikata is sitting out. Takagi is sitting out as well, but it turns out there's nothing wrong with her. Once again, Takagi is not going to be defeated.

"I will not do such a thing desu"

Hahahahaha

Anyway, really fun episode. All of the parts were quite enjoyable though I still feel this would do better as a half length show.
