We got Ainz and Ainsworth skullboys now.

Couldn't Ainz edit that line out of Albedo's settings? If not, he has a responsibility to give her what he made her want. Weird LN nonsense.

If Crunchyroll would at least block ads and other informations about this... but no, this is as if they were holding it under our nose and telling us: "Here, see this yummy Anime? Everybody loves it, but you wont be able to see it."

Episode comments have been broken (newest order only) for over a year, and I'd consider that a more important site development issue (not to mention simpler) than creating a whole new system to make sure show promotions only appear in available regions. When you decided to try to support the industry rather than pirate, this kind of frustration is exactly what you signed up for.

There's a list of what's available legally where here, but I don't see Overlord in Germany. https://myanimelist.net/news/53555937 There may be a company in your region that has the license and doesn't want the show to be streamed, so that Germans' only legal option is to buy their BDs.

short sighted if true. That sort of behaviour just encourages illegal watching.

@Terendir:
Germany has a lot of great animes blocked! I live there for 9 month and suddenly a lot of great animes from my queue disappear.

Now in Argentina and this great anime is block here

This season is really weak but I expect this show as light in the darkness....

Well, I'm (kinda) relieved I'm not the only one that can't freaking watch it due to licensing restrictions..

Guys, I'm trying to stay legal here, stop making that harder, what am I even paying for?

This isnt an answer. But for those countries that are not getting localizations. See if you can find out why. Does someone else have the rights? Is it to costly?

From time to time ive notice some big name countries not get shows, like Germany, and it seems very odd. There must be a reason to it. If there is no apperent reason, the anime communitys in those places will need to come together and find a solution. That might very well be making a rival to Crunchy Roll that focus's on only europe area or something.

No good answers here, but Crunchy Roll definatly seems to care more about NA then anywhere else.

Sorry to say this but it was a really boring first episode. Did they introduce a fricking ton of new characters? I don't remember almost anybody. At least I kinda enjoyed Myth & Roid's song.

All of Ainz's minions minus the penguin and the bartender were in the first season.

The knight captain was in the first season, Ainz saved him in like episode 2 or 3.

Everyone else is new.

That was a pretty nice hype episode for a continuation of last season. I'm not particularly looking forward to the lizardman arc, but maybe they're make it more interesting than the manga. Kind of nice to see characters that maybe won't be yet more fodder for Ainz to mow down with ease.

Watched the episode via... alternative.. methods yesterday. Must say, it was a bit of a "new character" & information overload. Looking forward to the continuation of the story though.

Seems like a company with the name "KSM GmbH" in Germany got the licencing rights to publish the anime on dvd and bluray. Why such a small company is able to solely licence it for the GAS-region I cant say. Crunchyroll should be able to get licencing rights too, especially since its streaming and not selling physical products.

This is something only crunchyrolls licencing department could explain.

Also buying the disc version is something I will never do again. Horrible sub quality, missing japanese dubs, insane prices and other things have teached me not to do it again. Also I dont even have a DVD or BluRay Device. My last PC i built together without one. There is absolutley no need anymore for discs in this age.

I'm curious as to how much they are going to run in parraelle? It seems like we have around 3 different stories running at the same time here so are they going to end up doing them one at a time or progress all of them each episode.

It is not available in Brazil as well.

I wondering where it is available though. It is only US and Canada? I haven't seen anyone outside North America being able to watch it normally.

That is really sad, since Overlord 2 is probably the most anticipated anime of this season.

I can watch it now, seems CR got after the license or something. Hope more EU nations have access to it then, maybe we can all enjoy it soon. There is hope!
