It seems today episode is just some kind of recap special of S1. The actual episode 1 is scheduled to air next week.

Episode 1-2

The first episode has RIkuken and someone that knows Cho Soran grandfather meeting with the 7 masters about the tournament. Rikuken than announces he will give his Tsuutenroku technique to the winner of the Raten Taishou. The rest of the episode is spent with Hou Hou training Soran and introducing new characters that will take place in the tournament.

The second episode has ho Soran and his friends arriving at Ryuukozan where the Raten Taishou will be held. Before that he is able to meet one of the Taison and learn his grandfathers real name. After that Soran travels with everyone to where the tournament will take place. While there he notices all the fighters and even meets Fū and his sister who will take place in the tournament. When it came to the first match Hou Hou goes first and easily wins when the fighter recognize her. At the end Soran is finally up and he sure knows how to make an entrance.

When it comes to the second season I'm surprised we got a new op. Seeing how silver guardian kept the first one i kinda expected the same thing oh well... The second season is a lot funnier than the first as we see more comedy before any action. The one thing i don't like is the horrible cg. I guess they are trying to save money doing like that but hopefully we don't see more of that. I found the new ed funny as we see Hou Hou burying someone and i kinda like the music playing. It's still to early for any serious fights so we just gotta wait for now.

Episode 4
Had some pretty funny lines for example Hey Fuu Houhou. dont you think that's a little unfair.? Why? Aren't I here to hit my opponent.? Well, I guess that's makes sense. Keep going then.
and the Ending song animation....was hilarious

Well, I loved the first season of this series, but it looks like pretty much the second season is going to be focused mainly on some dang tournament. I have zero interest in tournament fighting anime. Get on with a real story already.

Enjoying the characters in second season much more than S1. Especially with the addition of Shokatsu Sei (CV Daisuke Hirakawa!!), his little bro Haku, and Ja Seiryan. Also like the tournament format featuring all the different fighting styles. Ja Seiryan's "style" during the Mom Call was quite amusing.

Guessing the funny ED will be the running gag for the season.

I wish someone knowledgeable in Chinese smartphone culture would explain the smartphone part of the ED. Is Fu Houhou getting a lot of likes for burying all those people or something?

Someone please tell me, surely this attack term has some other context? I mean, I'm not going to be the one to google it....

^ ^ No reply yet. But if anyone can reply to that, maybe they can also explain the context of the ED song.

First season, Chou was leaping moon buns. This season, he's shining ***. Somehow he's graduated into Zapp territory.

Perhaps the same quirk of the Chinese language that makes them translate several different terms as [email protected]#$ when they attempt English? (It's something to do with words involving placement; e.g. "put this here" somehow becomes "[email protected]#$ this here".)

No, there is no other context than the one you don't want to google. Bukkake is Japanese slang for ejaculating in someone's face. The blonde Express Delivery guy named Houhou's many martial arts techniques something suggestive (AV18 it said in a fansub of the Chinese version) and all the individual techniques are supposedly named after sex positions or something like that. So that's the joke, and why the dark haired Express Delivery guy keeps beating up the blonde one over it. Houhou herself is of course too innocent to make the connections, and has no idea what she's saying.

Houhou doing a Chinese twitch stream of her burying poeple. Those hearts are not necessarily people spamming likes. It's like a click-bait, luring people interact with the streamer, mostly by donation.

The ED's gonna change after EP10. They are all character songs, first with Houhou and later with others.

And Houhou burying people is basically a meme of this tournament. In the Chinese episodes the people being buried will change accordingly each episode.

How delightfully mercenary of her.
And thanks for the info!

I could never tell the difference between the people who were buried in the Chinese version, but sometimes they were mentioned in the fansub. People buried in the dark all look the same to me.

Just caught up with this show, I said it was grossly under rated first season but the second season is even better - the laughs I get from it are worth the sub to CR alone (Hadoken!)
