Hello , for the past 3 weeks I have been unable to watch Crunchyroll on my OnePlus 3 Android 8.0 Oxygen OS 5.1 Phone via the Crunchyroll App , I have premium membership and every time I attempt to watch anything after about 15 seconds the video Freezes and audio continues to play, I have tried deleting the cache, the app, and restoring Android , but nothing fixes my problem . Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially for a great service that I would like to keep paying for! Thank you.

Also noticed this problem throughout the last week using a Lenovo A7600-F tablet with Android 4.4.2. It was even worse today, and I have been unable to watch an episode without having to manually rewind or fast forward every few minutes to resync streaming. A premium membership is not worthwhile if I am unable to watch anime on mobile devices.

[edit:] I forgot to mention that this was happening while connected to my home wifi with speeds in excess of 100 mbs. Also, syncing seems better after I changed the video quality setting from auto to high, though there was still a random instance of the app freezing and needing a minute or so to rebuffer. Please fix your Android app.

Happens to me constantly on multiple platforms. ROKU, Android. All I ever get back is the standard response. "Clear the cache and/or uninstall the app". Neither of which has yet to work. It's been weeks since I was able to stream ANYTHING without freezing or buffering.

I finally found out how to fix that, guys! This only works on android. There are 2 methods to fix that. If it worked please share this text with other people experiencing trouble watching Anime.

Method 1: Change the Crunchyroll Video settings to "Low"
Just go to the Settings and change the video quality to "Low". Now the video should play normally, but sadly the Video and audio quality of the video, won't be so good.

Method 2 (Best Method) : Watch Crunchyroll from a Browser.
Make sure you are not using Google Chrome, Mozilla..., beacuse it won't work. When you open a video it will say that you need a Browser that supports Flash! I would recommend Puffin Browser. Download the browser from the playstore, go to Crunchyroll.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, and choose Preview Website or something like that so you can access the website without the app. Then log into your account, and choose a Anime to watch. Choose a video quality (480p,720p,1080p...) And click on the video to begin watching. You can also make it full screen by pressing the fullscreen button on the bottom right of the video. Also make sure you set the Flash Player Quality in the Puffin Browser settings to high, or you will have low quality audio and low quality video.

I hope that helped! It took a while to type. Please share this with others experiencing problems watching Anime.
If something is unclear, I can do a tutorial on my YouTube channel (It's called Swagsy)
