When considering a category like "Best hero" you usually look for three things: Likeable personality, defined goals, and strength to defeat every villain. While voting for someone like All Might, Saitama, or even Eren is alluring because they have all these traits, I believe the 2017 best hero should go to someone completely different. Someone who actually hasn't beat ANY villains.

Mumen Rider from One Punch Man. Now, I know that's a strange pick. A few of you are probably ready to stop reading, but hear me out. While he may not have strength, Mumen rider is the definition of a hero. No tasks too small, no wall too high. He gets balloons out of trees, rescues survivors after a disaster, fights battles against crazy OP city buster villains he KNOWS he can't beat. Mumen Rider is just a lowly C class hero, normal man with his bike and a good will. He'll give up his life just to stall a villain if it means protecting even one civilian. His speech during the fight against the Deep Sea King was truly moving, and I suggest you look it up. Mumen Rider has a pure personality, very defined goals, and not strength, but the most noble of hearts. I hope this might change a few peoples mind on who to vote for, and have a good day.

Hahahaha interesting choice, but i agree with you in that point this guy can be consider a hero or batter a ( everyday hero ) considering the mess wich saitama and genos have done to city (also the villains ).
Btw my awards to 2017 goes to The hero not hero Guts from Berserk 2017 he fight against trolls, keep the new crew alive and pursuit griffin and for last FIGHT against the horrible animation who this anime was made it :v
