its important to move people at quick rates across the country.. and away from shaking trucks..

An opinion piece from mid-December says the project (at that time) had no CEO, funds, and no future. They feel it should, by itself, entirely change how California elects people, and every governor candidate who wants to keep it needs to justify it.

Another article from back in October said that a 13.5 mile tunnel could kill the project.

What happened to California's high speed rail project? "Business as usual."

For some reason, the first thing to come to mind is a tragic, fiery train derailment to go with the wildfires and mudslides.
