I've played Tera and kritika online lately. I've also played blade n soul and WoW
I need suggestions for some good MMO's, mainly free to play ones but one time payment ones are also welcome.
And tell me some good coming up MMO's if you know any! Personally im pretty hyped for dauntless.

I had fun with Black desert Online, it's ten dollars (believe it goes down to five on steam sale). I've only played the ones you mentioned along with Star wars the old republic. Elder scrolls Online is another, but I didn't have much fun with that one. Just didn't get my attention that well. Sorry I don't have much to add.

My friend and I had a lot of fun with it, haven't played it in awhile since we've both been busy. Might start it back up again and see how it is. I think they've added some new stuff as well. I do remember having to grind quite a bit, then again that's MMO's for ya.

I recommend Black Desert Online if you value primarily PvP, an amazing Character creation/ Customization, and beautiful graphics and fighting mechanics.

However despite it being the best graphically looking game out in the market right now (That's a fact), I want more in a game than just farming monsters.

If you are like me and prefer Dungeons, Raids, and an amazing storyline you can enjoy with your friends...
Final Fantasy XIV would be your MMO! I wanted to get into MMORPGs like Sword Art Online, where you basically go into Raids with your party and travel the realm together. It's alot slower paced, but I love the idea of having Healers in the back, Tanks taking the damage, and DPS doing their thing!, with supports on the side. FFXIV would be so much fun!

However unlike BDO which is a pay once, play forever game (Which it really isn't because you will have to pay for "Quality of Life" items later on if you take the game seriously/ cosmetics)

FFXIV is like World of Warcraft, which has that monthly subscription based model. Then chose accordingly.

I play Guild Wars 2 only now. I played WoW for 7 years, and FFXIV for 2.

The problem with most MMOs to me is endless gear grinds. In GW2 it has a gear cap that's easy to hit. Also I play it super casually. GW2 just has a different feel to me apart from other MMOs. I'd recommend trying it.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is pretty fun and free. Its a Japanese MMORPG and has some fan translation aswell as a tutorial on how to install and create an account. While a lot of things are left untranslated its pretty well translated and overall pretty fun.

I've been playing the CLOSERS beta, it's alright but somewhat repetitive (very story driven, that's what's keeping me on.)
Otherwise, I'd recommend not playing BDO. Massive grindfest past lvl50, like that's what 95% of your time spent playing the game will be. Overrun by bots, limited housing, it's a pretty big shitshow.

I've tried a lot of MMOs & always ended up going back to RIFT. That & Maplestory are the only two I ever played for more than a week.

Can't offer anything upcomming, my 6 year old computer won't run them.

I recommend watching gameplay footage & reviews by MMOGrinder; He tells you everything you need to know about a game.

Agree wholeheartedly with this. Final Fantasy XIV in my opinion is also casual player friendly, unlike its predecessor, Final Fantasy XI.

Dunno if it counts as an MMO, but I've been playing Warframe for the past couple of months, its great. Free to play, not pay to win, lore is pretty good too. While yes, like with all games, something sucks about the game (you come across annoying bugs at times) though you don't really notice unless you get super into the details.

Did i mention, the overall (at least on PC anyways) community contains really nice people

To OP:
I noticed you wrote tera and kritika, i was wondering your thoughts on those? (Fellow gamer also looking for more games to play)

I ended up starting Black Desert Online and I'm really loving it! I love how you can do basicly whatever you want without level cap.

I've also plaayes warframe! It was pretty cool, should propably continue someday.

I think Tera is pretty cool, I've played it on/off alot, I think the new ninja class is really fun! Kritika I haven't played that much, just starting it. Overall I wasn't too thrilled about it
