Plot Summary

Saiki Kusuo, an otherwise normal teenager, has various super-powers, telepathy and telekinesis included. This should have been cool, but through experience, Saiki comes to realize that having powers while trying to lead an ordinary life is a bad mix.

I eagerly await this, but Funimation hasn't gotten to announcing it yet. Seeing that it got a simuldub that I'm hopeful that they are just dotting the i's, crossing the t's, and something else. In the meantime, the episodes from the first season are not up on Crunchyroll as this is one of the last titles that preceded the CR/Funi partnership.

The lack of information about simulcasting is seriously killing me

There's still one box left here: http://www.crunchyroll.com/lineup. Aside from Saiki I can't think of anything else it could be.

Well, Season 1 was done as daily shorts with a weekly compilation episode. I've no idea if season 2 is being done the same way, but if so, I'm wondering if maybe CR and Funi just decided to go with the weekly compilation and not simulcast daily shorts--which might account for the delay.

This new season is full length (24 minutes) but it's much shorter in terms of # of episodes (rumored 24 until confirmed). However, it's definitely full length rather than shorts.

Just speculative but I really hope the license delay doesn’t have anything to do with https://twitter.com/VIZMedia/status/953811360277708800
Saiki K is a Shonen Jump manga and everyone wants a streaming service these days.

Funimation was marketing the hell out of the S1 BDs not too long ago though.

I think they were still promoting it this week.

Still no announcement. I think CR has one more "?" box left.

Apparently, Saiki S2 is streaming exclusively on Netflix... So much for the CR/Funi partnership...

Here's the full version of that page. (now that I have time to translate)

The bit above Netflix says "Watch as much as you want. Exclusive every Friday night 0:00 streaming", the bit above all those other services says "every episode, purchased each Wednesday at 0:00.". I imagine that means it's like a PPV style set-up for everyone but Netflix. I have no idea what that means for outside Japan as I've never seen that before.

Episode 2

Saiki's parents never ceases to amuse me in this show.

His inner thoughts are still all over the place this episode followed by his own logic.
It was funny seeing Riki act in the way he usually does. Such a funny guy. Delinquents in this series are still looking for trouble as usual.

Teruhashi still has her usual aura going on. She's probably going to be like that for rest of the season lul

Episode 4:

Lol, Teruhashi has that weird rivalry with that pigtailed blonde girl.

The episode had some over the topic logic again especially from Saiki's point of view about disease. Nendou is still causing trouble for Saiki like usual LOL. He can't ever catch a break!
