I also forgot to mention ghost stories in dubbed. I don't know what was the problem with the original show but it seems the dubbers had fun with that show and it's actually treated like a joke. Sure nostalgia plays a part as well can't deny that. I do gennerally prefer subs over dubs too. But there are just some shows where you've seen both ways and just like one way better. 90% of the time it is the subbed version.

I don't watch that much dubbed, but Boys Over Flowers (the anime, of course) is MUCH better dubbed. It's a VERY old anime, so the sound quality of the original is complete crap. The dubbed is sharper and clearer sounding. Also, I'd rather watch Hetalia dubbed. The voice acting is actually accented and they speak so quickly it's VERY hard for me to read subtitles.

Ah, so many choices. If you ask me, Funimation probably makes the best there is. However, that doesn't mean i check every last dub. If i truly enjoyed, i might consider.

Anyway, time to list.

Baccano!
Strike Witches
Brave Witches
Darker than Black
Soul Eater
Soul Eater NOT!
Bleach
Steins; Gate
Psycho-Pass
Sonic X
Fullmetal Alchemist
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Well, that covers it.

Recently watched Danganronpa: The Animation, I quite like that dub. Some voices are odd but they really have fun with the dialogue, got a lot of giggles out of me, helps that the characters are quite varied and memorable. Also Jamie Marchi as Junko's voice was awesome, instantly recognized her as Panty's voice from Panty and Stocking, love that dub.

Obligatory Cowboy Bebop insert...

Um. I LOVE Steins;Gate's dub, it's genuinely hilarious.

I grew up on Naruto, Inuyasha, & DBZ's dubs so I prefer those over the subs.

Anything else... Idk

#1 of all time: Black Lagoon

Fullmetal Alchemist and Brotherhood
DBZ
Rurouni Kenshin (I think)
Inuyasha
Baccano
xxxHolic
Fruits Basket
Chobits
Some of these may be pure garbage dubbed, but I remember changing the language on it every time because I liked it dubbed better. It was a long time ago.

I can take xxxHolic either way, both Watanukis and Yuukos are up to the task.
The same as I can take Kiki's Delivery Service with Shampoo or Phil Hartman.

But I can not--CANNOT--listen to the original Japanese version of Azumanga Daioh:

Tomo simply does not sound like Tomo, or Ms. Yukari like Ms. Yukari, as much as Mandy Clark and Luci Christian's true depths of insanity.

Any more than the Japanese Mr. Yamada in "My Neighbors the Yamadas" sounds like Jim Belushi.
