"Blackface is in the eye of the beholder" is a phrase I never thought I'd hear. If you post caricatures drawing on old racist stereotypes from the 1800's in an attempt to make black people look stupid, you are going to get called on your bullshit.

The fuck is your game? Like, think before your post. If what you are posting could easily be propaganda from 1900, some warning bell should go off in your head. Honestly, if there wasn't even the slightest twinge in the back of your mind saying "maybe this is racist and I shouldn't post it" something is seriously off the mark up there.

I'm not sure what your "game" is Sundin. You're making accusations based on perceived intentions of what someone is saying rather than their word of mouth. I'm assuming you're arguing this is good faith but reading into someone's intentions to the level you're doing right is an outright disgusting and morally indigestible behaviour which I believe you should seek to fix. Onto the "cartoon", if the cartoon was historically propaganda would you not argue it has historical worth? Because you seem to have been driven into a berserk frenzy by the mere sight of it.

MrAnimeSK You probably should not of linked the "cartoon" from a pragmatic standpoint due to the nature of the users from this site or tackled linking it from a historical standpoint. So my advice, don't die on this hill.

I am not accusing SK of being racist, I am accusing him of posting racist stuff and then proceeding to defend that racist stuff with more arguably racist stuff. Whatever you think that says about him is on you but I am not inferring anything beyond the scope of what has been posted in this thread.

And the cartoon wasn't posted as a history piece. It was just being used as more propaganda. Using historically racist caricatures as modern day propaganda is more than a little messed up.

The left considers slant eyes racist for Asians. Meanwhile In Asia they love to add in slant eyed characters because they look uniquely Asian.

The left finds anything and everything to be racist just to be offended. Even the communists make fun of the Western Left.

This isn’t really a surprise, they’ve been the top extremist threat here for a long time. I imagine it will only continue given the current environment.

Hi. This topic is fine, but got quickly derailed into related topics (through no fault of yours), so I've closed it.

Please feel free to try again. Perhaps adding more details about your own thoughts, and a request for people to stay close to the specific topic and not veer off into topics of racism in general or whether or not they or other users are racist, would anchor the topic better.

I think the discussion that did happen was interesting, but most of it said very little about the reported rise in white supremacist violence in the US.
