So Long story short I forgot to cancel my membership before my free first month trial ended, and unwittingly didn't realize that the recurring payment option was on. So now I have had 7 payments go though to crunchyroll in the past 7 months without my knowing (I've been busy at Uni and it slipped under my radar. Anyway I can get complete refund for all of those months, or am I just screwed?

you'll have to contact support
they probably won't refund you for the past 7 months, but they can cancel your membership and refund any unused days.

in short: yes, you're probably screwed.

Yes, don't expect a refund. For CR to even consider that, they would need to verify there had been no viewing using that account for that entire period, and given that their streaming infrastructure is rather old, I doubt that would be a quick task.

I take CR was the first video service you've ever signed up for a free trial for, so you can consider this a learning experience. You would be hard pressed to find any online video service (including the big ones like Netflix and Hulu) that don't work that way. In fact, if any free trial (online or "real world" asks for payment information, check the fine print and you'll very likely find it continues at the end if you don't cancel).
