using american numbering system, where epoisode I'm on 120, is 127, since the hour long special right before that episode is 2 parts, and I assume it's the same with the other 1-2 hour specials and why there is a 7 episode gap.

Hopefully they will eventually have all 889 episodes but won't that get confusing later when they hit episoe 754, and like 50 episodes missing?

I guess it might be moderately interesting to see how they would handle the situation should it come to pass, but TBH I don't see the addition of Funi's episodes 1-130 to be a sign that there's any kind of definite plan or intent to fill the gap. They are getting those old episode as part of the partnership with Funimation, but Funimation has only those episodes -- they don't have the later ones. Which means Crunchy would have to negotiate with someone else to acquire the other episodes that aired prior to when Crunchy started simulcasting, and that might not be easy or affordable.

ahhh I was hoping it was something like the arc-v and some others where they add 10-20 every few weeks or such
