Title^
If you could pick any task or thing and see it automized, virtualized, or made to be done by software, what would it be?
It can be a relatively simple everyday thing, or something more complex. It really doesn’t matter.

For example, Uber and AirBnB computerized taxis and hotels. The idea itself is simple for both, if not necessarily implementation.

For something more complex, think maybe computerized analysis of whatever complex system. Or something my professor is working on: customizable virtual tours of buildings/houses so the details are set before building and satisfaction guaranteed before buying.

Or for something relatively simple to the point you probably forget about, remote controls for like everything.

Sure, anything really
Automated Cook or website to tell you what you have the ingredients to cook (both of which are already things).
Or a "social media" type thing that connects specific people: Uber, AirBnB.
Any form of analysis/DYI software: Tax programs, Finite element analysis (I'm an engineering major, that's what I think about), etc.

What's a sybyl system?

Pictures? IDK if I can really do it. But in terms of more abstract concepts
Try these

Mixed with a little bit of this

Keeping my place in order.
Yes seriously, if I could fully automate anything I'd waste it on not having to do my own cleaning/laundry/dishes. Maybe I'd get it too cook and go grocery shopping too.

This is for a project for one of my classes. Unfortunately, I'm absolute shit at the whole creativity thing

If something does come of it, sure. Of course.

On the one hand yes
On the other, I just looking for the start, not the actual assignment or refinement of the idea
So eh

And it's an interesting question regardless

Organize my laundry loads and how to wash them.
I have ruined many a nice garment by attempting to just stick it in the washer.

And then like, parking spaces. Oh my god would that be amazing. To be given a ticket at the gate for those big parking garages with a specific spot that's open for you to park. I'd never lose my car. I wouldn't have to circle around a structure at 3 mph trying to find a spot. I know some places already have a sensor that detects if a car is parked there. That can be used to (sort of) navigate around shitty parkers. If they parked poorly, hopefully the sensor for the lane they're butting into will detect the car and won't issue a ticket for that spot. Everything would be so orderly and wonderful.

I hate parking in local plazas, because they're small and sometimes hard to find space in. I dislike parking garages because they're enormous and I always get lost in them.

Virtual girlfriend, maybe like an augmented reality type thing in my house so I can interact with her. I would also like her to text/talk to me while I'm doing things outside.

A computerized lawnmower would be awesome. Until it turned Maximum Overdrive anyway.

Government
Seriously, any branch of Government should have all of it's services fully automated, no dealing with surly government workers who are more interested in complaining about their jobs than actually doing them (okay i am guilty of stereotyping)

and while we are at it, automate all of our politicians, i mean they all spout off the same empty promises every single election, just program the machine to say the same nonsense we vote for robot 1 / 2 or 3 and get on with our lives

Just the most mundane parts of life; the things that you hate to waste time on. Like cleaning the house, cooking, shopping, refuelling the car, etc. I mean, we're getting closer to automation with these things anyway. You have rumbas for cleaning. You can have recurring online shopping orders. Some of the more interesting block-chain discussions I've heard, talk about how it could be used to facilitate self-driving cars getting refuelled.

Driving, the sooner this becomes reality for us the better. I see so many incompetent drivers on the roads, once the technology is more advance I'll trust machines over people who can't adequately drive any day of the week.

Domestic robots that clean, cook do laundry and take care of other things around the house to help me enjoy being even lazier would be pretty sweet as well.

I mean if you have $2,000 and speak Japanese you can make that your reality now, just saying
