In my case, I liked Gokaioh, ToQ-oh, and Shurikenjin from Gokaiger, ToQger, and Ninninger, respectively, all of them Super Sentai series. Other combining mecha include ToQ-Rainbow from ToQger, as well as Gekiatsu Dai-oh from Ninninger.

Which combining mecha did you enjoy?

Gosei Gattai Dairen'oh... also a Super Sentai series.

I also like the Combaticons and Bruticus from Transformers a lot.

And from more traditional anime I would have to say Shin Getter Robo.

Another favorite combining mecha I'd like to include is this:

I'm not kidding! Mickey Mouse and his five friends gain their own combining mecha. And I can't help but like this stuff, because Walt Disney's Sensational Six are like a surrogate family to each other, and the fact that they got their own combining mecha from Bandai and Tamashii Nations cements it all.

During my pre-adolescence, I remember owning a Voltron toy that came with the cartoon series, Voltron: The Third Dimension. It was pretty bad-ass that Voltron was just five mechanical lions combined to form a humanoid mecha.

As for Transformers, another combining mecha I'd like to give props to is Perceptor from Transformers: Armada:

The main selling point of Transformers: Armada were the collectible Mini-Cons, which were to the Autobots and Decepticons what Stands were to the numerous heroes and villains of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. They combine with each larger Transformer, and they receive a small power-up that increases their firepower, agility, and/or endurance. But the Street Action Mini-Con Team were not really designed to combine with any Autobot or Decepticon so much as each other, forming Perceptor himself. And it makes you wonder why most other Mini-Con trios that weren't the Star Saber, Skyboom Shield, and Requiem Blaster did not combine with each other compared to the Street Action Mini-Con Team.
