Just a thought. I'm hoping to be able to contribute to the wiki as soon as I finish playing around with the sandbox. i second that |

This is awesome! Unfortunately I can't log in. I've tried messing with cookie settings but nothing seems to be working for me.

Just a thought. I'm hoping to be able to contribute to the wiki as soon as I finish playing around with the sandbox. i second that Thirded. For most of my stuff I might have linked ANN or wikipedia for external links, doesn't mean I used it -_- If I want to know facts or general plot of anime, I can easily get that from ANN or Wiki. So those posts on anime with alot of "copied and pasted" info from ANN is redundant and should be changed to a more user writtened appeal/ |

^ If you're going to be looking at the user written appeal, why not have the fact stuff right there with it? That way you don't have to go looking it up on other sites. It would be right there -_-

No i meant we should ADD them. Not just leave the facts just like that. And slowly take out all those facts altogether. No sense in making a wiki if we are just gonna link them to ANN or wikipedia anyways.

Yeah I'd like to see more CR original stuff too. RIght now I'm just adding all the fact stuff.

Yeah, aside from fact stuff, don't try to quote others. I've already had to deal with users directly copying wiki pages. Please don't plagiarize. I will delete all of them.

^ It's as if these people haven't written a research paper or even learned in English classes how to cite sources... :sweatingbullets:
If you REALLY must lift a sentence from wikipedia, or another source (as in you can't think of a better way to say it), rake your brain an rephrase it. Paraphrase, people... There's no way you'll get through college if you can't even write without citing your sources. |
