i dont think there's always that much intellectualism or forethought required in art, maybe art is just an expression of the heart

I highly disagree, if that's true, I'm not an artist. I give it a lot of thought; the last time I created something was like 6 months ago and it took me a month to get it "right".
It's more like a combination of both passion and planning. The moment both of those "click" together in me, I start to create things and cannot stop until I'm done. Some are very lucky to have so much creativity and understanding that they are able to make those two work in harmony whenever they want.

You love and hate art.

i dont know what this means at all.

Yea i guess i understand the combination of passion and planning mauz, but i wouldn't categorize art is merely an intellectual pursuit. Art isn't only the expression of the mind, but sometimes it can be on a whim.

That's part of the problem cbisram, most of what has been said here is partly true, but then...

most people can only partly understand the artists true intention on their own anyways, sometimes they may take what was originally intended further along depending on social events and the time they are living in. Even when we question what the artist meant in his/her work, they may not always know for sure, especially after the passage of time.

Isn’t it my post related to that opinion, is it?
Coz if I’ll read my post again.
I stated everything clear.

Well the worth of art is based on ones own opinion, it could mean something different to everyone, in my opinion. I think its subjective.

I'm not a professional at art, only a poet who writes based on emotion so, I really don't know what to say.

I believe art is a combination of Creativity, passion, and planning but theres no end to art or any art for that matter because the meaning of art is not something that can't be describe in words.

My opinion.

Hopefully, What I'm saying makes sense.

i get what you meant esa, but 'endless meaning' can be found almost anywhere just as Eros' previous post pointed to. Art is rather subjective though, i mean i could take a shit on a piece of cardboard and put it in a art gallery and some snob-nosed asshole would probably manage to come up with some sort of analysis of why its art.

art has no true meaning. it is only a concept in an individuals mind. art is exactly what you think it is.
these expressions often come to mind when trying to categorize art

1. one mans trash is another mans treasure
2. beauty is in the eye of the beholder

it all depends on your point of view. nothing more. nothing less.
