Well there goes that last US anime streaming service not owned by a gigantic corporation. Let's just hope it's only a matter of who is raking in the big money up top that has changed and that there will be no noticeable decline in service. Guess we will have to wait and see. I suppose this was inevitable with the major competitor left now being Netflix and the need for more investment $.

That's not necessarily a net neutrality thing. That's more of a monopoly issue.

Net neutrality revolves around equal access of downloading/uploading packets over the net, not ownership.

for now, nothing has changed. AT&T can, however, deliberately make CR run slower on other networks, or make CR run better on their own network (fast lane). thanks to Trump's new FCC apointee, this would be perfectly legal.

Fake news. Doing that was never illegal when the internet was in jurisdiction of the FCC (what your calling "net neutrality"). Now its in the jurisdiction of the FTC and attacking monopolistic behavior is an FTC specialty.

Ah, the perfect opportunity for a gratuitous anti-Trump comment.

this wasn't a negative comment against Trump, it was against Ajit Pai. bear in mind that many Republicans are also against Pai:
https://techcrunch.com/2017/12/12/more-republicans-in-congress-criticize-fccs-net-neutrality-plan/
https://www.theverge.com/2017/12/14/16777500/ajit-pai-net-neutrality-republican-politics-whoops

and it wasn't gratuitous: Pai was responsible for killing net neutrality.

Crunchyroll became part of Otter Media (AT&T and The Chernin Group) back in 2014. Not worry.

Crunchyroll is now fully owned by Otter Media who bought out the remaining shares (20%) from TV Tokyo.
