Hey CR Fam,

At this point, just a quick scan of this forums topic list, within the XB category is an obvious assessment of CRs presence on Xbox. Frankly, I'm beating a dead horse with another dead horse but, I am frustrated. I'm a faithful anime enthusiast and a loyal CR prem. user so, I'm going to take that bit of entitlement and hold CR accountable. I love this app, I truly do, and I feel as though it has the potential to once again make using it on a regular basis worthwhile. The being said, I find it highly unacceptable that a site and app that sees so much traffic cannot simply try to put in an effort to address, let alone, fixing such frequent issues with it's UI and general compatibility with these current gen consoles.

I myself have continued to have server issues, unexpected crashes and a terrible time with what I believe to be an outdated UI. I've had these issues on my XB1 and continue, it seems more frequently, to have them on my XB1X. I pay my membership faithfully and I expect a certain level of quality with that, I think we all do. I could try other services and apps but, I made a specific commitment to this particular service because of the extensive library of anime, simulcast and the like, some of which cannot be seen anywhere else unless it is personally purchased. I also appreciate the fact that I can view subbed content as, even though I am American, I much rather watch this content in their native language.

So it continues to disappoint me when I log into my XB and open my CR app only to constantly receive a server error notice or, getting into the app starting up a show, get 20mins in and have the app crash on me. I can only reset, reboot, and un/reinstall so many times before I recognize that it's no longer any fault on my end but, it is the poor attention to making this app user-friendly an operational for better, seamless use. Something I expect from all my apps on my XB. I just don't understand why I have a perfectly great 4K system and television to view my anime on and yet, I continue to have to jump through hoops to view or abandon it totally in favor for another device.

Or, why X360 users have a much easier, plausible UI. It's all rather ridiculous at this point. Ridiculous and repetitive. In my honest opinion, CR needs an overhaul across the board as far as devices go. Something that will catch up to the streamline of all our devices. Right now, they're doing the bare minimum to keep their subscribers happy and that isn't going to cut it much longer.

So that's my little spiel. I don't know if they are ever going to really, actively consider any of these things but, I suppose one can hope.

Contributing to frustration,

Since I see from your profile that you're in the US (Michigan), have you tried linking your account to a https://VRV.co account and using the VRV app on Xbox One? You'll need to manually recreate your queue on VRV, but the service works much more consistently.
