Dinosaurs may have been failing before the 'killer meteorite' through having claimed every area of the Earth, some studies show. Having plateaued, dinosaurs would have been unable to adapt to the hard rock era, having lived in a golden age after death metal happened, leaving only the flighty sort that we now think are for the birds. Other researchers disagree, and claim dinosaurs were still diversifying their portfolios even as the rock market crashed around them.

So I guess the debate comes down to what you think dinosaurs turned into, and how successfully. Just birds? More? Sociopaths? Weird smelling pets?

I see only two options for dinosaurs. They head to space or move to a higher plane of existence. Ether way, they're not talking to us.

It is a cosmic truth, that only the strongest of species can encounter the death metal and live to speak of it.

the era of true global warming. they did evolve into other creatures and, no matter how many times they have tried to cover up, there's been evidence of humans and last stage dinosaurs existing together. let's not forget sharks have been around for millions of years, with only a minor evolution stage here and there, to the most current having babies without mating. so, yeah, why mess with perfection, as for the others, they had to "perfect and adapt" as most species must to survive. it has and will always be survival of the fittest. you either evolve and adapt, or no longer exist. that's natural selection at it's finest.
