Does anyone know any mecha anime made during the 2010's that featured combining mecha? I know that 2007 featured Gurren Lagann, and 1997 featured GaoGaiGar. But what about the 2010's? Were there still any combining mecha during this time period leading up to right now?

It's not made in Japan, but they just rebooted Voltron within the last couple years.

The only one even remotely close I can remember offhand was /bbkbrnk but that was about individual body parts combining into a mecha, not mecha combining into a bigger mecha.

The pacing was also kind of a trainwreck, at least for the first season. I didn't watch the second.

Captain Earth, 2014. It's here on CR. Very nice visually, but the story was lacking... watchable I suppose. The combining is like what's described above, "individual body parts combining into a mecha, not mecha combining into a bigger mecha".

Samurai Flamenco features combining mecha later in the series. The show's a parody of all genres of hero shows starting from street vigilante up to super sentai.

Also Dai Shogun Great Revolution is combining mech despite its poster.

Some would criticize its art as being close to manga 2.5...
