I've picked up a few words over the many years xD

I even find myself miming along to the openings of anime too since I somewhat know the lyrics.

I've studied Japanese for several years, but what you learn in Japanese lessons is Keigo (formal Japanese.)

However, I pick up a lot about informal Japanese, plus some dialect, by watching anime and dorama, and from my other Japanese addiction, popular music of various types.
