well I would be pretty stupid if I wouldn't have learned a lot of Japanese words from 150+ animes. Tho I don't have the slightest idea how to write 80% of them. Man the most important thing in most languages is how to conjugate verbs and I can't figure how the Japs do it just bye hearing. Mb I should ask my brother or sister-in-law seeing my brother followed Japanese lessons and my sister-in-law is still doing it. I just hope they're learning to write Japanese westers style and not in kanjis? (japanese signs)

That's the only things that dissapoints me a bit, even if you learn so much words from hearing them when you go read Japanese raw mangas you're nothing with that knowledge cause of those kanjis (japanese signs). And in some animes the Japanese already complain how hard it is for themself.

My answer is yes and no. You can learn little phrases such as ''kawaii desu ne?''
but does anyone really know what ''desu'' means from just watching anime?
Or can you learn how to read Japanese ?
Can anyone read this?

I guess you can't really learn Japanese from Anime.

i've learned and recognized what they say after a while, and you remember some common words and phrases, and if you read the openings in Romaji, you can also understand the sentence structure^^
