There's this manga you heard so much about but haven't brought yourself to reading it. Then when you hear about the ending to the manga, all you hear is how bad the ending is.

Has there ever been a manga that has done that to you?

My Turn:

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan.

Hitman Reborn.

Fairy Tail

Bleach

There are too many for me to name.

For manga with an actual ending I was going to bring up Usagi Drop, too. One of the reasons why I recommend the anime over the manga.
Let me also give an honorable mention to the generic-non-committal-harem-ending so many mangaka choose to go with.

What's actually worse than a bad ending is manga (or any kind of story, really) not getting an ending at all because it just hangs in hiatus limbo indefinitely.

The Fairy Tail ending wasn't actually that bad as far as endings go, it's just that after all those chapters the ending felt hastily put together and kind of lazy.

About Usagi Drop.

Maybe Fairy Tail's Creator had a deadline or didn't know how he wanted the ending to go.

A manga called "Cage of Eden" which I wouldn't say the ending is terrible, but it is heavily rushed and it makes less sense the more you think about it. Although to be fair I think the manga was getting axed so the mangaka had to rush the ending.

Reborn's ending isn't that bad. It's fine imo.

Fairy Tail also had a pretty fair ending.

Beyind Usagi drop, no series I feel like reading have a bad ending attached to them. At least that I don't expect. Like axed JUMP series.

So, just to be clear, you have not read any of these?

I did read both Reborn and Fairy tail. I thought their endings were fine. But, I did not read Usagi drop. It's also the only manga that I feel like a could read and heard the ending was a mess. I need to write things clearer. My apologize.

It's ok. I was just looking for people who didn't read and only heard of a certain manga that had a terrible ending.

Sundome.

I had seen it recommended a couple places, so I started reading it. It was not what I expected. So, I looked up the ending, out of curiosity. I stopped reading.

I don't know if you would call the ending "terrible"--it does kind of fit the rest of the manga. But it is disturbing....

Interesting. I read a few chapters of Sundome. Can't remember where I last left off but yeah.
