"A" is a waste of perfectly good space. It's just not functional.

Walk-in shower, no tub. So half of A.

Functionalism and minimalism are my preferred styles for architecture and interior design. A purpose and place for everything.

So, uh, I guess a bath/shower combo would be what I generally prefer since it's most functional as long as there's space for it. Otherwise a standing shower and nothing else is best.

Walk-in shower, no tub.
I'd rather have a tub/shower combo but I'd need a bigger bath for that. Mine's so tiny I couldn't even walk into the bath if I had a tub in there.

Combo. I also favor combos, though I don't mind walk-in showers. I'd much rather have extra space for a towel closet, shelving, etc... than have it taken up by option A.
