Tub and shower combo. My family has never been rich enough to have it any other way. Not that I really care about this in particular. A separate bathtub would just go unused by me and I definitely want my shower to have curtains!

Varying shades / tints of metallic surface material constructed of varying densities connected to a hole in the perpendicular plane of reference (i.e. the floor) that defines boundaries for sight and olfactory senses from public view/ consumption thus ensuring a reasonable sense of privacy / security for said subject that has been duped into taking this "test" to verify whether potable water can be recycled in the same area twice before direction back to said appropriate dispensary / aquifer / treatment reuse center.

A combo and it's the worst. I hate it so much. I moved from my old house in which I had my own recently remodeled bathroom with a huge walk-in shower, to my current house with a gross, cramped shower tub combo with stains on it from the previous owner that won't come off. I'd kill to have a walk in shower again. I wouldn't even need a tub separate from the shower. I'd never use it anyway.

Believe it or not, some people only have a shower or a bath. Our old house had the shower upstairs and the bath downstairs. Combining them in one room is a modern developement. Our current home has a bath tub with a shower that was probably added afterwards.

In the house I grew up in (built in the early 1930s), the master bedroom had a small bathroom with a shower only. Then there was a larger bathroom with a separate shower stall and tub. That one was the old-school fancy kind of shower with multiple showerheads at different levels, kind of scary for little kids! There was also a maid's quarters in the attic with a tub only, as I recall.

Currently I'm in an apartment with a standard modern tub/shower combo, but before that I had a house with a shower only. It kind of sucked... I rarely take baths but bathtubs are useful for all kinds of other things and I really missed having one. If I'd kept the house I planned to eventually save enough pennies to get a tub put in.

I have a tub and shower combo in mine. I rarely use the tub, but that's what my living space came with.
