March Comes in like a lion
I normally watch the more action anime, with the occasional side genre ones thrown in for variety. By far the best anime I have ever seen. Each episode has this weird way of drawing a certain emotion out of you. Sometimes its sad, sometimes its happy. You can always see what they were trying to do. Just finished an episode and thought, if people don't know about it. They really should.

It's not good in the normal Anime way either. This one is good in the way that you would consider it art. It really does draw out emotions from you and has a weird calm at the end of each episode. Some episodes will bring you to tears, some will keep you laughing.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have been avoiding the series as it seems its still ongoing. Might watch it when all the episodes are in. I have a bad habit of wanting to binge watch lol

Yeah, pretty much everyone should watch March Comes In.

It's sort of weird in that it's been around so relatively long now that it feels like a bit of a fixture. It doesn't get the "OMG ITZ NEW" hype and sort of falls under the radar, but it's been so consistently good for it's entire run that it has remained a must watch. Unlike many ongoing long form shows, it really is the definition of All Killer and No Filer.

Also, don't be afraid of it if you don't know anything about shogi. I still don't really know much more about shogi now than when I started watching the show, but it's not really about shogi specifically. It's much more comparable to a really, amazingly good sports anime that spends as much time away from the game as it does focused on it.

Okay, I'm convinced. If it doesn't have super powers or giant robots or space pirates, I'm generally not very interested. This one I'll watch. =P

That's my rule for LOTR as well...

But yes, the feels this show gives... the feels.

I think the show has done a good job thus far of portraying how depression feels and that uncertainty that surrounds it.
