Experience an original story where you are the protagonist in the world of Gun Gale Online. Create your own avatar and explore devastated lands while experiencing exciting third person shooting in this action RPG.

Game comes out on console and PC today.

I've been enjoying the game since yesterday, only thing I don't like so far is with your AI you can't change its voice or so far I haven't found a way to yet. Don't really like the squeaky voice it/she has.

I don't care for SAO but this looks fun solely for the fact that it looks like Namco picked up Sony's slack and made Freedom Wars 2. Seriously debating buying it.

I preordered it last night since it gives me another SAO game for free next month.

Clocked in 50+ hours for Hollow Realization and surprisingly was fun.

I ended up splurging and pikcing it up. Decently fun so far once I skipped through all the cutscenes I didn't care for. I will say some of teh pacing is garbage. After the tutorial dungeon it's like 20 minutes of forced dialogue and pointless running from point A to B to talk to people.

There's lots of load times too. They're not terrible times but its obnoxious. Fast travelling in the same zone requires the zone to be reloaded in its entirety. That's kind of bogus for a lightweight game like this in 2018.

This is easily the best SAO game to date from a production value standpoint and sheer gameplay. I wish this kind of effort and resources had gone into the other SAO games. But yeah, I will say that there are waaay too many loading screens which shouldn't be necessary when loading into different areas of the same region.

Just got the true ending today and I have to say, the grinding required to get there truly wasn't worth it. I probably won't bother with New Game plus since the grind kind of burned me out.

I would say wait for the price to go down a bit & for all the dlc to come out (only 3 confirmed dlc, first dlc is supposed to come out this month but hasn't yet). It's actually a pretty short game, the length is the in game dialogue, grinding for exp, grinding for affection of your party members, & loot farming (though nothing over the top like destiny or borderlands loot farming).

Truthfully despite the game being short (except for all the grinding) I had a absolute blast with it & recommend it if you especially like Third Person Shooters & RPG's or a fan of SAO.

Alright, thank you. I couldn't find any review/site/person who gave good details like you did. I'll likely buy when price drops like you said.

Your welcome, I mean it is an amazing & fun game (personally can't stop playing the game) but like I said it's to short of a game & when the dlc was announced (in march) all the stuff mentioned (besides more story) is basically all the content that wasn't finished yet or was planned but never made it in the final release.

Anyway glad I could help

https://gematsu.com/2018/04/sword-art-online-fatal-bullet-dlc-ambush-of-the-imposters-launches-april-26-in-japan

New game mode Bullet Of Bullets: Offline-only. Fight against characters encountered at random. Win through the one-versus-one opening rounds three times, and aim for victory in the eight-person battle royale final round. Kirito, Asuna, and the others, as well as new characters Dyne, Yamikaze, and Musketeer X will appear as opponents.

DLC has battle royal although I would say that it's one of the few games that can work for this type of game mode.

Not sure about the new characters. Need stats on them.

I enjoyed the game for the very very small amount It has to offer, but when broken down It has far less going for It than all the previous SAOs as standalone games.

The Biggest Issue I had was that multiplayer offered far less depth In terms of legendary/unique glowy weapons of the previous games, and there was no real value to playing that mode other than too mess around with a few friends. In terms of loot drops or getting anything out of It like EXP for leveling etc It was all pretty much pointless as a mode.

The storyline was terrible and littered with Inconsistency's compared too the actual anime arc of GGO.

Disregarding all of my Issues though It was a vaguely enjoyable time waster.

It's not meant to follow it, it follows the video game timeline.

That may be, but It was still a terrible game compared too the previous Iterations.
