I'm getting kinda upset that there are no strict World War 1 or World War 2 animes coming out, I imagine it's due to not being able to sell well because of merch and because of the touchy subject matter in Japan. Still, are there any WW1/WW2 anime coming out soon?

Unlikely. The trend in recent years is to set the time period of the world wars in alternate universes where Japan is either not involved or they can take on a more positive role.

Examples include Sakura Wars, Strike Witches/Brave Witches, Izzetta the Last Witch, The Saga of Tanya The Evil.

Older anime such as Barefoot Gen and Grave of the Fireflies tell of the civilian impact of WWII and are much closer to reality.

Besides whats already out the only thing I can find is a live action based off of a manga. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2018/02/23/kaiji-kawaguchis-aircraft-carrier-ibuki-military-manga-gets-live-action-film-in-2019 Is there a particular reason your looking for such a specific scenario?

Valkyria Chronicles falls in that same category.

There is also The Wind Rises, a Studio Ghibli film from a couple years ago, which does deal with the World Wars head-on.
