Nothing plays when trying to watch anything on the Crunchyroll app using my fire TV stick with alexa. I keep getting a something went wrong error. It says to log in and out. I did and the problem still persists. I even redownloaded the app still giving me errors.

Go to the main Fire TV device settings (not within the CR app itself), then find the applications section, then scroll down to find the CR app and do a "Clear Data". When you go back to the app, you will have to log in again, but it should work after that.

You may even need to clear/deactivate it on the web page here:

Already tried that. It works for one episode then same error message.

I have the exact same issue. Is there no fix for it? It's beyond annoying to have to input the User name and password for every single episode. I used to get this error only sometimes, and mostly after not closing the app properly. But now it's really persistent.
Can anybody help?

This is happening to me as well with FireTV in the last week or two. Every time I start the app it gives me the "logout" error and I have to logout, then log back in. It's not a giant deal but can get annoying.

I have the same issue on my Android TV and its hyper annoying.

Clearing the app data or reinstalling the app has not changed the behavior. One thing I did notice is that sometime when I go through the log out/log in cycle I get a "session timed out" when I first try to log back in. It clears if I go through the cycle again. To me this suggests that the app is marking the previous login session as stale and thus requiring that you re-authenticate.

I though that it might be specific to my TV but hearing that others are seeing the same issue with other platforms points to the app.

Has anyone opened up a support ticket with CR?
