I used to write fanfiction. I'd love to get back into it, but to be honest I think I enjoy coming up with ideas more than actually fleshing them out.

My main problem with creative writing of any sort is that I find it difficult to pick an idea and stick with it, even for a short project. If I can't complete a rough draft in one sitting, then the entire project is pretty much guaranteed to wind up in my computer's recycle bin in a fit of frustration.

I absolutely love writing. I tend to embrace absurdism, but it's nice to have some emotional elements in a story that would otherwise be considered surreal. I'm slowly accepting humanism in my short stories; probably because I'm a cynical 30-year old dude who wants to believe that humans are inherently good, but are far too easy to succumb to corruption. Most of my stories would fall under the "black comedy" label.

And about your request. The name is Carica, the place is 1200 years in the past, and the situation is about a meteorite heading for earth (and deep inside is an ancient being of immense power fortold in ancient apocalyptic texts). Have fun.

Jesu Chrsti man, I write black humor stories! I appreciate the challenge. I'm definitely not a fantasy-sci writer. Can I inject my style of black humor & absurdism into this quite serious yet very intriguing story outline you constructed? Fuck it. It's an anime message board. I accept your challenge, but it certainly won't be what you may expect the story to be. I'm pretty busy currently, with one friend coming back home from Alaska to visit & one of my best friend & his wife coming home from France for a visit. I was initially hoping someone would just give a humorously absurd situation so I could have fun & produce a quick short story, but this is far more challenging. But as I said, I accept the challenge, & in a way I'm actually pretty glad it is rather serious & is set in such a distant time period. Did you know before choosing 1200 years ago that, that takes place in the time of Charlemagne? Crowned The Holy Roman Emperor by the Pope himself? That was back when the Pope was considered & treated as a nearly omnipotent figure. Oh man, just for the sake of fair warning, this short story is going to be truly absurd. But it may take a minute, because I have to brush up on my history of the 800's. Thankfully I'm a massive history buff & know a fair amount, but I'd like to throw in some real historically accurate references in there. Even without my busy schedule for the next week, this may take some time... bur I will deliver. That's a Jaga promise. There is nothing more sacred & binding than a Jaga promise.

If you go to my profile, i turned the "About Me" section into a ridiculous semi-short story in itself. This is by no means an example of a real short story I've written, but you can kind of see the absurd style I incorporate into even just a run-of-the-mill "About Me" section on a profile. This isn't representative of my actual ability to write a short story, it's just me taking a piss. But even taking a piss can be fun & outrageous. Wait, what?

'Alloh. I'm Deagle. I like people, places AND things. I live in Michigan. I love to write, record & perform music. I also like creating absolutely absurd short films. I like writing poetry when I'm drunk. I had a major back surgery in July of 2016. I now have a titanium spine. An unintended & inexplicable side effect of the surgery gave my body Herculean strength & an iron will. The source of my newfound, superhuman powers are unknown, but the fanatic, eccentric group "The Knights Vowed to Usurp the Veil of Secrecy" urge scientists & doctors not to neglect the possibility of a supernatural phenomenon as a plausible catalyst. It may have been the FDA banned "Chemical-X" that was "accidentally" released into the anesthesia during the surgery by the mysterious ex-anesthesiologist, Maximilian Manheim. When I went back to the hospital to investigate, I was shocked to learn there were no records of Manheim ever working at the hospital, & my surgeon, Dr. Alessandro Rose, who is one of the most gifted surgeons in the country but addicted to the very painkillers he prescribes, said his memory of the operation is hazy but he clearly remembers one thing about the ex-anesthesiologist; his eyes. He has heterochromia iridum, causing one eye to be a beautiful, hypnotic sky-blue, while the other was a cold, lifeless void of blackness. My goal in life is to make music & travel the world, performing for any audience willing to listen while also gathering information & trying to track down the enigmatic, evasive Maximilian Manheim. Oh, & I also fight crime.

I enjoy writing all type of poems every once in a while. The issue is if I have motivation to write.

I write stories that evolve and change... Meaning, I have no idea how I am going to tell it. What I do know is that I have no idea how to draw a comic.

Writing is my life. I write all the time. Been doing so for over 15 years.

The stories just come into my head and the only way to stop thinking about it is to write it down.

I got started writing Fanfiction in my late teens and early twenties when a friend suggested it. Now I lean towards writing original work because I got tired of using pre created worlds and characters. I'm currently writing a fantasy adventure novel that is over 600 pages and hoping to get it published.

As for the fanfiction, I write it every now and again as just for fun.

You are quite an interesting fella, aren't you? I enjoyed reading your "About Me", thank you. I did not think you would take it so seriously though. But I do like your passion for writing, it is exquisite.

Yes is my answer, as during my child years I enjoyed writing poems and more of my life during my late teens to early adult years. I currently document information of my experiences that are happening in the area that I reside in, since the abuse and harassment me and my relatives have endured must be shared with the individuals who are interested to read.
