I get asked silly questions often, but this one "What if" bugs me most. If you have not seen up to the Freeza Saga, ignore mine and carry on.

K, I can tolerate DBZ related questions.

You realize if there was no vegeta the entire world would have been destroyed.

Whether that be freeza, because I'm sure vegeta sacrificed himself to save time for Goku? I forget. Or even cell. No vegeta, no trunks, no time travel, no fusion, no nothing.

Dragon ball z wouldn't exist. No smart ass remarks, no more living in the shadow of Goku. Empty, keep your enemies closer.

The same thing that happens every time someone important in DBZ dies...he would have been wished back to life

I believe MasakoX covered this as well as a whole bunch of other what-ifs.

Why would they have bothered to wish Vegeta back to life at that point though? He killed a bunch of their friends and hadn't redeemed himself yet in their eyes. Also without him helping out on Namek there's a good chance they never get the chance to wish ANY of their friends back. Frieza would have collected the dragon balls before Gohan and Krillin had a chance to, and used them to gain immortality, making it impossible for Goku to ever defeat him.

Why did Goku ask Krillin not to kill him?

Then again, who says it would be Goku and friends who wish him back? Frieza was wished back in Super.

Death has never meant as little in any show I've seen as does in the Dragonball shows.

Then you don't have a show because you've killed off every other Saiyan except Goku....who just learned in the same saga that he himself was a Saiyan. You lose an important dynamic to the show because of his character. And you lose any ability to make a halfway decent story arc after Freeza because Trunks is non-existent....unless Yamcha's kid with Bulma decides to come back from the Future LMFAO.

I don't know if anyone hates it, but the question I often ask DBZ fans is, "Why do they spend 26 episodes to tell a story arc when any other show would fit the same content into 2 episodes?"
