Pretty clearly looks like $some_server broke on the 25th and nothing has been working on or after the 25th (before the 25th things worked fine). Start the Android application, wait half a second and the message "There was a problem starting the app. Please try again, or contact support if the problem persists." [CLOSE] [RETRY]

Bit of packet capture shows a bit of traffic before the message shows up, so it seems there is an attempt to contact $some_server and then it dies. Looks very much like $some_server went crunch on the 25th and still hasn't been resurrected.

Yes I was able to use it just less then a min ago.Is your app all updated and stuff?

What about posting your device and android OS version.

There was apparently some back end upgrades over last weekend. So depending on your OS it could no longer be supported.

Alas you're suddenly giving me nightmares about things which might in a parallel universe cause troubles... Congratulations on responding faster than Crunchyroll technical "support" though.

Unless the version on the Google Play Store is out of date, I've got the current version. Android 7.0. Somehow that seems unlikely to be an issue.

My device 7.0 as well so that is interesting as I thought maybe some people might have been removed if they used 6 or lower type thing.
Also the app version I have is 2.1.10 which seems to be the newest.

So other then suggesting the generic delete app and reinstall app I don't think I'm going to be as much help in your issue.

Maybe you and I live in parallel universes. Have we been in the same location before at the same time? I don't think so.

That shouldn't fix things. Doing a force stop kill(???, SIGKILL), followed by deleting application data should completely clear all traces of any data the application saved.

The fear which came to mind is I'm trying the Australian firmware for this device right now, I would expect the application to detect location based on IP address (which is definitely not in Australia), but depending upon how it works I could see that confusing the detection. Checking http://www.crunchyroll.com/contact suggests it is correctly detecting my location, but if it is comparing multiple sources it could get confused.
