I'm curious why CR was provided with the censored version of this although Funimation has had the home video version for a while. The only times I can recall this happening before, it was because CR already had the title as a simulcast in some other countries in the world (and just expanded the territories for the existing simulcast videos), but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

^ Thanks for that info, Shimoneta has for a long time been at the top of my list to watch on Funi whenever I resub there, and I was about to start watching it here.

The stuff that no one has licensed:

Ai Tenchi Muyo https://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=24699
Tenchi Muyo OVA Series 4 https://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=31861

But as you can see from the scores and reviews, these weren't received well, so they're probably not even worth licensing.

tbh I kinda like Shimoneta being censored. It feels like it's part of the joke. Prison School being censored is a bit annoying since the censorship in there is super heavy and distracting.

Second Raid is just in time for season 3, well whenever it finally jumps all the hurdles they keep putting in front of it.

Yes, this AND Prison School seems to be marking a shift in strategy. I wrote this 1 star review for Prison School (also similar for Shimoneta) titled "Ruined by CENSORSHIP"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is another Funimation catalog title already released on home video that NEEDs to be viewed uncensored to fully appreciate the S&M and lasciviousness in all its humorous glory. Get ready for annoying light rays.

I swear there must be a change in business strategy behind the scenes, because maybe Funimation wants some extra revenue and provide an incentive to keep extra subscription.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is even more worrisome is that the previously announced plan was to keep dubs on Funimation and move subs to CR so if this holds up, then there will be no way for paying customers to view the uncensored home video versions in subtitled format

Oh...nooo! Prison School...that anime is about as sadistic as it comes, especially for the female students who run the "prison" Although I am kinda like that way and people always say i have a dark sense of humor...I guess that is why I kinda like shows like these?

Aand...the situations that each of the guys get themselves in... I did watch this show on another site (can't remember where though), although I think that site showed the uncensored version

I'm fairly new to Crunchyroll; why does Australia not get many titles?

Usually because of Animelab having them there. There is a difference between "catalog" titles and simulcast titles. Catalogs are completed previous seasons/years shows with prior licensing already in place. Simulcasts happen 4 times per year, those are the new shows airing on Japanese broadcast TV. New licenses are up for grabs, but old ones were already decided before the Funimation/Crunchyroll partnership began.
