Pretty stupid that Tokyo Ghoul was only for a few regions. Crunchyroll needs to quit being so shit with what anime gets shown in certain regions. Get it for everyone you cucks.

Still no sign of Devil's Line... Looking forward to this the most, still hopeful about it since CR got the manga simlipub a little while back. Just hoping Sentai doesn't pick it up

HiDive has streaming rights for the show, so crunchy will probably not see it

@TheDimmLight For reference, here's another thread where people post licensing news as it comes out: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-1009025/spring-2018-anime?pg=11#57428195

And I can't remember any other names right now, but I know that that one isn't the only case where Crunchyoll has the first season and not the second one.

DanMachi Sword Oratoria and Himouto! Umaru-chan R were two that people were particularly upset about last year, victims of the falling out with Sentai. That's why I said Amanchu 2 would "probably" be on CR, the sequel get success rate is pretty high

I haven't watched Magical Girl Ore, but there's this article titled "BL Web Manga 'Mahou Shoujo Ore' to Get Anime Adaptation" https://myanimelist.net/news/33238145 People ask whether it counts since it's a gender bender; that's up to you I guess.

For shoujo idols there are these, but they won't be here since they're franchises that have never streamed legally anywhere outside Japan AFAIK:

We can only guess at what's going on with Funimation, but at any rate it looks like they've held a master license to the franchise all along, meaning it's not like CR could do anything about it even if they went back to competing.

Yes! I absolutely, 100% agree with this! My happiness would be off the charts if this happens.

That was licensed by Viz Media back in early January:

Despite that, it may not be simulcast:

Did I read it correctly, it's rights for North and Latin America, what about the rest of the world?

"The license includes digital streaming, electronic sell-through (EST), home video, and merchandise rights for North America and Latin America." So I guess others can get Europe, Australia etc. After this the article goes on about Viz marketing the show to Latin American TV stations. The reason would be that football is much more popular there than it is here.

P.S. I always like to bring up how the original show "inspired prominent footballers such as Fernando Torres, Hidetoshi Nakata, Alexis Sánchez, Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta and Alessandro Del Piero to play football and choose it as a career" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Tsubasa#Reception_and_legacy
