So Amanchu is restricted too. Well done CR, you are climbing the DOUCHE BAG ladder quite quickly.

Can you just please shatter my dreams and announce "the only desired regions" for FMP Invisible Victory already?

Are you going to be FAIR TO PEOPLE or just get your cheeks slapped with money and restrict an anime for which the WHOLE ANIME FAN WORLD is waiting?

And yes, I have a right to express my disapproval of your methods.
Crunchyroll is doing their best, a lot of times other companies have licensed shows for different regions.

But you're expressing your disapproval to the wrong people. Take a trip to Japan, go to the original licensors, punch those "d-bags" in the face and ask why can't you let CR stream this anime in "x" region. CR always goes after worldwide rights but the original Japanese licensors have the ultimate power to decide if they will give CR worldwide rights or not.

So why no "Despite extensive efforts of CR staff, we still weren't able to obtain worldwide rights for this show" statement?

Why not communicate with people and keep us updated, show us that CR is fighting on?

No, we get just happy announcements. Just accept it or leave attitude? Like other premium members were simply 2nd or 3rd class citizens or worse?

I want to believe in CR, I want to continue supporting CR financially, but CR being silent is like saying "Your money means nothing. We wouldn't notice if your patronage came to a halt."

You need to understand that despite how much painstaking effort CR makes to acquire worldwide rights, if the Japanese licensors says “NO” then it’s not happening. I’m really am sorry that Japan keeps screwing you guys over. Really, I truly am, region locking is asasine.

When is Hinamatsuri gonna be on Crunchyroll? It has already aired in Japan hours ago.

I'm hoping Major 2nd does well enough that Crunchyroll picks up the first series (all 6 seasons!). It was a great show that did really well in Japan but never got the credit it deserved in the west.

Most likely will be a delay, CR hasn’t announced territories or times yet.

So people from non-english speaking countries are paying money in vain? Because the status quo is not likely to improve in the upcoming 5 years? CR partnership with Funimation is a sign of concentrating on certain territories, not expanding worldwide.

It would be good if CR staff made it clear to us, subscribers, that they didn't forget about us. Right now, for Spring 2018, we are getting crap shows. All the sweet stuff went to select territories. And what? We should be happy with shows we are not even remotely interested in? We should not complain even if we invest the same money as people from the chosen territories? Really?

Who is the bad guy here? Japan or CR? We're not hearing a word from both of sides. Not even a word. So we jump to conclusions.

It's not like I want to hate on CR for the heck of it. Trust me, I have better things to do. I just want to enjoy the stuff I pay for every month.

CR isn't going to throw the publishers they have to deal with every season under the bus.

I got to watch Caligula at Sakura-con last weekend and it's really really good. I would give it a 5 star. It's fricking Miku trapping you in another world where everyone is happy.

^ exactly. If CR started saying every season "well Publisher X didn't want to let us have it' or whatever the reason was, then there's no way in hell Publisher X will want to work with CR in the future again (or at least it will certainly damage Publisher X and CR's relationship)

By virtue of contractual agreements and just plain business sense, it would be an extremely foolhardy and bad idea for either side to reveal whatever specific reasons that went into CR getting what territories/shows they did.

It is an Animeism show, so it is under contract to Amazon Prime, just like the noitaminA shows are:
