Everything I've read indicates that on Crunchyroll Tokyo Ghoul: Re is only available in the UK and Ireland. If you aren't in either of those countries and you were seeing it earlier maybe it was some glitch while they were adjusting settings (on the website you would still see a show page, but there wouldn't be any episodes showing up.)

Using a VPN to circumvent region restrictions is against Crunchyroll's Terms of Service. If you are in the US or Canada you can watch it on FunimationNow. It's also on Hulu.

Funimation's Spring announcement explicitly states that this will be on Crunchyroll. I've not yet seen an announcement confirming date and time though. That should be forthcoming before too long.

Funimation and Crunchyroll probably are talking to Hulu right now about get permission and allowing Tokyo Ghoul in CR and VRV. Since I heard that Hulu and Funimation had a contract.

No, there's a contract that restricts Funimation from putting it on Crunchyroll. That's not a Hulu issue, since Funimation can put in every platform they want, except Crunchyroll. At this moment, they are begging to the Japanese company to abolish that restriction and, in the process, try to expand the license to Latin America (since they won't put in Nordics/Scandinavia).

Yeah I read it. It doesn't make me feel any better to know that.
Who knows how many contracts with an exclusivity clause Funimation made for many of their series. Some people has the belief that their favorite anime hosted in Funi are coming soon to CR. At least I believed that all subbed titles would end up in CR eventually.
If all that is true, then Funimation let me down by signing such an stingy contract.

You need to understand that this partnership that began in Fall 2016 was practically unprecedented. It was something both CR and Funi didn't think would ever happen. How could Funi have known that they were eventually going to end up in a partnership with CR? They signed that clause thinking no such partnership would happen.

Just be blessed that 99% of the time that whatever anime CR obtains is available to us Americans (and Canadians) while other countries are unfortunately region blocked.

It's available on FunimationNow in Canada.

The only regions Crunchyroll has this for are the UK and Ireland.

I just started my free trial of funimationNow, they dont have the first episode of season 3?

Is it region locked in my specific province? (Canadians)

Did you find it? I have no trouble seeing it on their website (but I'm in the U.S) -- I was able to click in from the simuldub page (via the image clearly labeled as "Tokyo Ghoul: Re") and also by browsing for/searching for Tokyo Ghoul. Once there you just select "Season 3: re" from the season dropdown menu. It is a little confusing that they label it as "Episode 25" for the whole series, rather than as "Episode 1" for the season, but it still seemed pretty simple, and not hidden.

If I have to suscribe to Funimation to see this, I guess I will.

But it's crushing looking at their current catalog and seeing that it's 99% the same as Crunchyroll.

I would prefer not to pay $6 a month for just one anime.
