More or less what we expected to happen considering the premise of the show. A bit predictable, but I guess this is where they end the explaining and start to give the show some life. Can they still keep it entertaining now that the core plot is laid out? We'll see. The soundtrack continues to impress, it's easily my favorite part of the show. The track they put around the middle of the episode was authentic Japanese rap, which I believe I've never heard before. For those who don't know I absolutely despise the watered down version a lot of anime has, especially Naruto type ED/OP songs. Nice to see some creativity there, it reminds me of the fact that they probably have no idea what people are even saying in rap songs, so getting that same situation from the track probably feels the same way for us as they do.

As for the plot, I'll be honest and say it's turned from a very special show into yet another Pokemon adventure. Sure they have a unique setting, but without any backstory to our now "Joe" we can't get into the story yet, I'm sure they'll get to it soon. I do feel that the show has an empty feeling world so far. It's so big that it's surprising that there are hardly any unique people with names in it. They sorely need some accompanying cast members. It either feels like they will take their time doing this, or they could end up going for quantity over quality for the cast. I'm trying to remember if this was slated for 24 episodes or if that was another show I'm mistaking it for. So far the backstory behind the utopian climate doesn't feel like it will play a major role in the plot. I get the feeling they will just leave it at that and ignore it the rest of the way.

Devilman: Crybaby had some really nice raps too. It's not common to hear, but I'm growing to think the Japanese rap scene actually deserves far more attention than it gets.

Japanese rap, I barely like English rap. I won't complain too much because it fits the setting and world. I'm glad the fight actually lasted a decent bit unlike a whole bunch of other action shows where a fight scene only last like a minute or so.

That rap insert was a definite highlight. Which made me check to see if OST pre-order was available (not yet).

Devilman: Crybaby's rap group featured artists who are also seiyuu (immediately recognized one of them), which would be a really fun trend. This season, AK-69 does the OP song for Fist of the Blue Sky (vouching for the song only, not the anime).

Ooohh I love that scene at the beginging of the second part at the roof or tract at 11:24- 12:28 pretty cool and the arts after that is amazing, the reflection on his googles from a biilboard , where his inspiration for the name JOE

That rap tract is pretty tight and it almost just made for that scene:) , that part really reminds me of Samurai Champloo.

I just noticed that Manabua who did Kids on the Slop is composing the music series , that guys work is awesome.

and Coma-chi is the one who did the insert song in epsiode 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtlF9Ow9yGA

The Op song is Leo Imai https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8csK1AKPnYI
The End song by Emi Nakamura https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_u8TuHnQR4

I love how both of their lives are on the line, but for different reasons.
