I fail to see the correlation, but if she's cute, I say go for it. In all seriousness, if you're unhappy with a product that a service is supplying, then naturally you should take your business somewhere else, that's the natural reaction.

Intended to get the Danmachi mobile game since I enjoyed the first iteration of the anime.

Guess I won't be getting it. Do they know their audience? I guess I will wait till it gets modded.

I was debating getting a premium account but if CR is gonna let politics seep into stuff they're localizing I am happy to keep using a free account with adblock or just going back to gogoanime. Also there is definitely an unofficial english patch for the japanese version in the works rn.

Just cancelled my premium membership, I am vehemently against censorship and I cannot ignore this.

Great, it's the whole Fire Emblem Fates drama all over again.

Company removes suggestive minigame from western release, half of the fanbase flips out, threatening to boycott the entire company over a single bit of censorship, other half of the fanbase tries to prove them wrong by coming up with poor excuses as to why the company is right, and nobody ever stops until the other side is proven wrong (which they won't be).

I stayed out of it then, and I'm staying out of it now.

Well then guess i'm not going to support this game. Its getting really irradiating how SJWS are deciding what's appropriate for ME! I mean for crying out loud. Your CORE AUDIENCE are the FANS OF THE ANIME. We've seen the show so we KNOW full well it has fan service in it. And the game had side feature in the game. A FAN SERVICE feature. So what the hell?

Censorship sucks, but SJWs have nothing to do with why this game was censored.

How so? the dev's are choosing whats appropriate for us. The consumer. That's sounds like an SJW to me.

Well I cancelled my premium membership because of this and I don't even care about the game (I didn't like the anime or LN). If they do what they did to a mobile game, they may do this to anime, manga, drama or other games too. So if they do like to go full 4Kidz they may do so but at least without my money.

Funny thing though is, more then angry about the whole censoring stuff I'm sad and disappointed in CR.

Same here with unsub, created forum account simply to adress this issue. Have been user of crunchyroll for only 21 months, but to be fair, i only use it once in like 6-8 months. But kept sub simply for the sake on the anime community, something that gave me good memories in a childhood. But as of now, im unsubbed from crunchy roll.

Good attitude, I do worry about slippery slop but it's a bit much to say there going 4kids. Plus there's no reason yet to say there going to do it to anime. Also if it really is because crunchyroll are afraid of the games journolists can I point out to everyone that crunchyroll can't outright say that's the reason can they otherwise that's a sure fire way to get bad reviews. Just stay out and things will move on, also to those threatening to boycott your not hurting crunchyroll as much as threatening more anime to go to Netflix and Amazon, do you really want that.

If the one good anime service can no longer be trusted, then it really doesn't matter where anime goes anymore. We'll go back to fansubs just like the old days.

And Amazon has been (slowly) improving. They killed off Anime Strike earlier this year. Now they just need to work on releasing their episodes on-time.

A slong they make their job good. Sure why not special sicne I have them under contract already anyway. That aside ask Game Jpurnalist how much of a 'great' impact their bad reviews had on Kingdom Come Deliverance or how itw as written again. Not my kind of game because of the tiopic and genre, but amusiengly it sol surprisngly great even with all the bad journalists reviews. I would say the jorunalist influence these days is on a lowpoint special thanks to their bad hidden agendas.

I enjoy the game itself quite a bit, and for the most part it's been stable and had little issue. I feel like the way that this was handled was beyond bad. If they had just mentioned the changes right away there would be none of this, or if they were blindsided by a distributor late in the process of localization, even then being honest and apologetic would've gone a long, long way in reducing the anger that now seems to be directed at the company as a whole. A simple option in game that starts switched off and can be turned on also would've made things a lot better. I just can't fathom who thought it would be good practice to be belligerent with your customers, when you advertise a feature, then take it away, then say it's not censorship, which is clearly is. Honesty and transparency could and should have solved this whole problem before it even started.

LOL and the mods are starting to delete posts. Good times, like all great things in life, you've fallen CR. I left my premium account active for years w/o bothering to use your service because I told myself (and others) that I was supporting you guys to ensure we'd see more anime come our way.

Sadly, I will NOT support censorship in any format. I don't care to play this game and most assuredly won't bother, but the fact that you pulled this stunt.

Our relationship is over.

I've been subscribed to Crunchyroll with my previous account and this one since 2013 and will not be renewing my subscription in September unless this censorship and SJW mentality changes. I will now solely be supporting HiDive and wherever I can watch Aniplex titles, most likely Hulu and Netflix, subsites if I ultimately have to.
