I have an strong issue right now, somehow my personal information has been hacked and my Crunchyroll Account has been changed from [email protected] to [email protected] and they’re trying to do purchases with my account violating any kind of Laws, I want you to advice about this cause maybe your paying someone Account instead of yours. I have send some emails to Support Team, but I don’t have answer yet, so be careful right there cause even with all security tools my Crunchyroll account was hacked.

I believe my account was also hacked. I made my account last years and only started being a premium member 9 month ago and only started coming on the forum since last week. Up to last month every time I played a video it would say " exclusive stream for <my email> " and now it says " jehgjkhrw " and noticed in the recently watched anime section, anime's I've never watched. I don't remember and don't believe that when I made my account I called myself jehgjkhrw. I can't seem to be able to change that name unless I delete my account and make a new one.

So yeah watch out for your account.

I'm curious how they changed your username since even (as you noted) the user themselves cannot even do that.

They key seems to be that the "exclusive stream for" used to display your e-mail address, which means you didn't have a username set. (I believe this is possible if you sign up via some devices, but I don't think the website permits it).

Is your password still working, or are you only able to access your account because you were still logged in? If the former, have you tried changing your e-mail address back and then changing the password. (If that latter, don't try it, as that would force a password prompt, and you would be logged out if you couldn't provide it).

I probably used my ps4 to create my account. I wasn't able to use my PC for a long time(over a year) until last month. my profile page's title is the name I would have used to create my account, flush-kun.

With this I can understand that something might happen from the site itself about user name but not about the anime I have never watched in my recently watch though.

thanks for the help.
