Has the Crunchyroll PS4 app been buggy for anyone else lately too? The videos always freeze or stutter on me. This never happened last year; it's a recent thing in the last few months for me. I've been talking back and forth with a technician rep but they haven't done anything yet, although they did give me a refund on my last few subscriptions. They've been very polite with me, but I'm doubtful they can or will help me with my issue, since it's been going for a while now with no change.

I've looked online for similar issues, but it looks as if no one else has had this problem lately. I did all the things the site says to do when encountering this problem with zero changes. I miss being able to watch multiple episodes in one sitting,or Heck, even one episode without minute long pauses inbetween.

Anyone else have or had this issue? It's not my internet; I did speed tests and even used an ethernet cord once to see if that was the issue. My net is just fine, so It's just got to be the app itself. I've even had the site freeze on me just using the laptop.

I was having the same issues but with the roku app. Vids were playing fine, then suddenly they started acting up. From poor quality to constant/repeated buffering. This has happened to me before with no fix. I just stopped using the roku app for other means to watch. Tablet, site and whatnot. When I eventually tried it again it was working perfectly. Till last night.
I've seen others who have had similar issues with no fixes. Seems like all we can do is either wait it out for who knows how long or watch via some other platform.

On Roku, Android (two different versions of the app running on two different devices). Doesn't matter what platform there is a big big video freezing problem going on with Crunchyroll right now and no one is owning up to it.

Upstream capacity outpacing subscribers? A downgrade in upstream capacity by their ISP? who knows?

I seem to have this issue during 'peak' times (between @8pm Central and 10:30 or so) - I might get a random skip or something at other times, but I definitely have this happening every night when I want to watch something later on. But If I watch at lunch hour, or right after work? A random skip here or there at worst.
