Solid episode as last week. Becoming one of my favorites for this season.

This show is starting to become interesting. I did not know they had agreed to not killing anyone. Wonder how this is gonna work in the long term.

The storm comes up, he tumbles into the river. I'm figuring "OK, they've set it up so she's going to have to use her body heat to warm him up." Thankfully, it didn't come to that.

Geno Studio... I had really high expectations since they are former Studio Manglobe but man the animation is not as good as I hoped it would be.

Great story which helps me tolerate average animation short cuts

So much off model animation, gah

Still a pretty fun episode, especially Shiriashi and the guy holding smol Asirpa like a cat

They're not hesitating to throw villains against the Golden Pair there. Knew that the soldier wouldn't die from merely having his brains knocked out while swimming in sub-arctic conditions.

Asirpa quickly becoming my favourite character of the season. She and the Immortal Sugimoto are a great team. I wonder if they ever completed the drawing of the tattoos from the guy who got shoot in the head?

Geno Studio isn't the reincarnation of Manglobe, they just finished their final project. Geno Studio was founded by the previous leader of noitaminA.

I'm glad they really don't kill them. It would've bothered me throughout the entire series if they had killed them for their tattoos.
Overall I enjoyed the second episode a lot more than the first. Sugimoto and Asirpa are pretty entertaining as a team and I already like the new guy.

Hmm, it was okay. I'm a little bit disappointed that there was no comedy in it.

Oh don’t worry, there will be some comedy later on. The facial expressions are hilarious in Golden Kamuy

Episode 2 was a lot funnier than the first imho. Good to know there'll be more of this .

Heh. True to the manga so far. Expect to learn a lot about period Ainu culture between bouts of violent conflict.

Good eps. I hope we see more of The escape King.

Keep the scene where they're drying their clothes by the fire in mind

^^
Sugimoto only agreed not to kill anyone just to get their tattoo. He does hold to that but there's still a righteous plenty of killing and skinning in this series.

I'm glad I checked this series out. Aside for the tragedy of the CGI bears, this has been a great series so far. This adaption deserved a better budget.

I finally found the forum for this anime. Also I don't know how much human skinning I can take before I drop this anime?
