Hi there, I've been a long time supporter of CS (almost 6 years uninterrupted premium account with a few figure orders through the years), however that must sadly end now.

You see, I do not support censorship of any sort, period. Therefore, I also cannot support a company that actively censors products they bring over from Japan. I quit NISA, sadly now I'm quitting CS as well.

Your companies recent "change" to the game How to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon MEMORIA FREESE...was unwarranted. Also, when a PR zombie states:

"Hi! Official DanMemo Community Team here. The "touching" feature was removed from the English version of the game, yes. Not as a matter of censorship or depriving non-Japanese audiences of anything, but due to what is appropriate and not appropriate for English audiences. Hope that answers your question!"

If you feel you are mighty enough to decide what is and is not appropriate for we English gamers, you've crossed the line. That is censorship. You can use progressive wordplay all you want, however the fact remains it is censorship and you feel you know better than us.

Well, I expect this topic will get pulled rapidly and no one with any real power/authority will read this, however do keep in mind you've lost a long time supporter...and from what I've read on other forums, you will lose more.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

PS - All you other mouth-breathers can keep your replies to yourselves, I don't care about your opinions, the only reason this is posted here is because CS does not have a "feedback via email" option.

you can submit a public comment at https://twitter.com/danmemoen?lang=en
(or click on the support link provided on their twitter). not that it would be of much use. they already said they won't back down on censorship, even after much public outcry.

1. it's CR not CS. this is crunchyroll, not counter-strike
2. you care a bit too much about the "touching" feature. if y'all weren't such pervs i'm sure no body will care they removed one irrelevant "feature".
3. you fail to understand that this is not CR's fault, they don't get to decide, what's removed, and what is not. it's developers decision. if dev says remove x, they're going to remove x. because that's how developer-publisher partnerships work. if developer doesn't want something in a game, in a specific region, it will get removed because it's in publisher's interest to release that game because they will have a cut of micro-transactions in said game (the remaining goes to the devs)

While the OP may be outraged over not getting the same game content as Japan, I wouldn't be surprised if part of his outrage was fueled by what he saw as a good excuse to quit paying for anime and go back to pirating it (i.e., "Well, I used to pay for anime, but I'm not going to support CR's censorship of games").

Even if he does still view anime via legal sources, I wonder if he'll scrupulously avoid any CR titles that they place on Hulu (https://www.hulu.com/network/crunchyroll), or any of the titles CR holds the master license to that they've licensed to Funimation.

Yup, I made a mistake, it's CR not CS. No, I wasn't enraged or outraged, I merely speak with my wallet when it comes to censorship which is becoming all too common now. Could care less "who" is at fault, in the end, CR is holding the buck on this one.

Censorship is wrong, period. It's a slippery slope argument. Where do you draw the line? It will consistently move, ever encroaching on freedom and rights.

For the record; I don't play the game, won't play the game and never heard about the game until it made the headlines around the various forums/youtube channels.

Your thoughts about me dropping my sub because it's a way to "save money" or whatever is completely your own delusion. I've clearly stated why. Thanks for the Twitter suggestion, but like many other social platforms these days Twitter is a hive of villainy and scum, won't touch it.

In closing, watch the video, follow their channel. You will learn what true censorship is and 1984 is just around the corner folks.

Also, in regard to suggestions of nefarious means by which I might "obtain my anime", piss off...I have one hell of a VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray collection from Funimation, Sentai, and many now dead publishers. So keep hurling rocks in your glass houses folks!
