Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay night were my favorite out of all of them, they had a good story with characters I personally thought were built up well. I know that there is all those Fate/prisma illya or something like that;but persoanlly I don't think they came close to the other series I couldn't even watch them without getting annoyed.

Does anyone know if there will ever be or if there is going to be a sequel to fate/staynight I think it left off with a rather good chance a continuation following the main characters

There are several spinoffs

Fate Apocrypha and Fate Last Encore

there is a movie trilogy which just started Fall 2017 which adapts the last route of the Visual Novel called Heaven's Feel.

There was a sequel Visual Novel ,but it has never been adapted

He isn't asking if there's spinoffs, he's aware of that. OP is asking about sequels. I've been wondering myself. The franchise seems obsessed with telling however many alternate routes of the 5th Holy Grail War. Kind of want to see the story move forward.

Fate hollow / ataraxia is the VN sequel to Fate Stay / Night, but it's more of a fandisk than an actual sequel,

Here's the plot:

Yea, it's too bad about the Fate/Hollow because they didn't resolve the sister issue in Fate/Stay Night. I haven't read/watched the Hollow, so have no idea if they even talked about it anyways. (don't even want to read the spoiler provided, just in case it ever comes out.)

Fate Apocrypha, first season they killed off the one character I kind of liked, otherwise was meh to me, hard to care about any of the characters. The second season was much better.

None of of the storyline is related to Zero or Stay Night stories. though Larr1k1n

Fate/Stay Night is the story of Shirou, and his story ends perfectly in UBW and HF, the two concluding routes of the visual novel. A sequel has never really been necessary, which is why there have been spin-offs and alternative universes instead.

I agree that It did end a lot better than many anime these days. But I feel that you could go on with a new are in Shirous story.
such as maybe another holy started by unknown group
Or maybe just a story following him to see if he makes the choice of becoming guardian spirit or not. When I watched it I personally thought that the idea of Shirou becoming a guardian spirit then his missions from there on could prove to make a very interesting anime.

Prisma and Grand Order are on Crunchyroll. Apocrypha is on Netflix. Last Encore is also on Netflix, but only in Japan for now. The first Heaven's Feel movie is not legally available for streaming. Carnival Phantasm may be found on Youtube.
