Episode 1

And it begins with the branch office being shut down as they got robbed. Haru has quite a long road ahead to being a Period that comes with it job opportunities, but he can't even get started without rebuilding the branch office. So they go on their first quest in a village where money talks, and they are defeating a bunch of level 1 spirals, and they get attacked by a Team Rocket-like trio in the Wiseman, and they get go up against a five-star servant while Haru and company could only manage a measly one-star servant. That didn't go well, but they did manage to finish the job, and got scraps for it.

Well, it ended up being what I expected, and if nothing else, it's a fun show. Nevertheless, the show's story is a joke, and the humor is kind of a hit-or-miss deal. But the characters are a fun bunch, especially the Wiseman girls, and the concept has some merit to it.

Character designs look similar to Outbreak Company.

A very average first episode imo.

Some people may like the comedy but not me. Well, there's silly poses of the characters but beyond that, I can't say I'm hyped for rest of the season. I'm not sure I can invest into the character cast either.

Episode 1

This anime is based off a Gacha game and you pretty much see that in the first episode. We are introduced to our main characters Haru, Liza and Gajeru who come back from vacation only to find Branch 8 closed down after they got robbed. Now its up to the weakest team to work together and open up another branch 8 but that will be tough working for little pay. In their first quest they have to defeat some spirals but before they can a group of three show up calling themselves wisemen and would do is for less. Of course the mayor would want to hire them but Liza isn't letting them get the job just like that so a 1 on 1 is in order. Wisemen so happens to have a five star with them while Haru gets the chance to do a free pull only to get a 1 star. They might have lost but in the end they got the job and took care of the spirals. Also seems that Campanella was the one that hired the wiseman and is behind branch 8 money being stolen. Whats her cause for doing this?

If I played the phone game, I'd probably like this more. Since I don't, I thought this was okay. Quite a bit of breaking the 4th wall.

What the hell did I just watch? Seriously wtf was that? This anime made no sense whatsoever. I'm not taking the bait. I'm dropping this right now. So this is mediocrity? I'm not accepting it! Welp back to Lupin the Third.

My guess its some sort of game adaptation or really crappy light novel forgotten 7 years ago.

well that was something. Cute and silly. Seem to based on some mobile game and boy are they making fun of them!

I just stick around for Choco.

I think I don't like Wiseass as a team. They basically don't work. Was nice that Campenella is the villain, though.

Just as lazy and gaudy as the gatcha games they're parodying. Maybe if I didn't have an underlying disdain for gatcha games I'd find the jokes funny, but it just comes off as crass glorification of a really shitty model of games.

If there's anything that amused me, it's the OP. Other than that, it's somewhat average. If this gets nowhere after 1-2 episodes, i'm out.

Episode 2

After a meal of breat crusts and bean sprouts, it's off to the hot springs for their next quest as something has been causing the hot springs to dry up. And the Team Rocket trio is back out to steal their business, and providing some wall-breaking humor there telling them to make an anime and set it up for a fanservice overload. And then it's another match to see whose idea wins out, and once again, Wiseman gets a five-star servant while Haru can only summon another one-star monk of a different color, but before that match can happen, a monster attacks, and Wiseman's servant makes short work of it with some help from Haru, and with that spiral out of the way, the water is back. That was pretty much a repeat of the first episode there, and I have a feeling that it's going to be the same for the rest of the show.

So far yes but next week's preview might spark a little more interest.
