Hello. Recently, I've been having problems when trying to access Crunchyroll
Sometimes, out of nowhere, I simply get this "Error 1005 Access Denied" message, saying that the owner of this website has banned the autonomous system number from accessing this website.

Apperantly, this doesn't seem to be permanent, because if I wait long enough I'm able to access it again, sometimes I have to wait hours untill I can access this website again. I don't even know if it was me that did something wrong, I have never disrespected anyone on here. Never left offensive comments or made offensive posts (I've never made a post on here, this is my first). And I wonder what it is that is causing this problem... Why am I getting banned and then unbanned randomly? I'm never told the reason of it either, it just says the owner has banned my IP and that's it.

I also discovered that if I try to use a different browser, I can access this site normally again. I mainly use the Torch Browser, but now I can't use it to access crunchyroll, so for that now I use Chrome. Torch Browser is essentially Chrome with minor changes, and I've been using Torch for years now and never had this problem, so if the problem is on the browser, why is it only happening now and how can I fix this?

I had premium on here too and I'm glad I cancelled it before the automatic renewel, if this problem wasn't just on one browser, but instead my whole PC, I would probably have a hard time cancelling it, since I wouldn't be able to enjoy it because of this. I just want to know why this is happening and how can it be fixed, thanks in advance if anyone can help.

I also started encountering this same error, while using Mozilla Firefox. So far on Chrome everything seems ok and working.

You don't have something like http://torchbrowser.com/hola-for-torch/ active, do you? Or are you somehow using any other VPN service plugin without realizing it? Just a thought.

That is probably it. He may be hitting banned IP ranges using the built in proxy functionality.

I'm quoting you both so that you (hopefully) get a notification.

Sorry for the late reply. And no, I wasn't using any kind of VPN. Torch doesn't have a built-in VPN either, but whatever caused this seems to have gone away when I tried reinstalling the browser. Everything seems fine now.

I'm having the same problem in Chrome and Opera browsers, even the Android app isn't working because of this.

I'm getting the banned message when using a VPN, but I can get in if I disconnect from the VPN. I prefer using the VPN for security purposes. Is there a way to access Crunchyroll without disconnecting from it?

Use a different VPN? Find one that isn't hitting banned IP ranges.

Just be aware that if you're using a VPN to spoof your geo-location (and it's not just for security purposes like you said), then you're in violation of the TOS.
