As mentioned before, FMP was the one of the first anime which got me on the road. Was sooo waiting for the sequel and now I CAN NOT watch it. Come one, whats the point of keeping the subscription anyways if all I can watch is some stupid pants fan service.

For some reason I remember the original series being a bit more silly than this. Which is actually a good thing. I never was much into the comedy of the original.

Yeah the beginning was silly sprinkled with some seriousness but that was exactly why I got into the series (and I was 12 when I first got into it). TSR definitely had a huge tone shift which I welcomed and appreciated and I don't mind if stays this serious throughout to the end.

Episode 2

It's weird not having Mikuni Shimokawa not doing the theme songs this season seeing that she has done so for all the other series.

Missiles have been fired, and Sousuke is being pursued by a bunch of androids and suits that happens all over town. That chase sure was intense there, and it wasn't until the mecha arrived that Sousuke was able to get away using the mecha's cloaking device. While things are end over at Sousuke's end, things are not much better over at the island as it has been attacked by the Behemoth, and then there's Speck's traitorous intent. But before all that, everybody must survive this attack. And then it ends with Kyoko and company being captured and held hostage Lots of shit went down as that was a pretty intense turn of events.

I personally think the new theme songs work well so far for the show. Might take some time to get used to.

The beginning of this week's episode was really intense. No wonder Chidori feels the effects of it while Sousuke is doing his best to protect her. This episode brings back the psychology I remember from Second Raid.

What an intense showdown this week honestly. I wonder if rest of the season will be able to keep up with this momentum but that was great.

That dude's impact time prediction for the cruise missiles was off by a full 13 seconds.

Tessa should shoot either him or the OS programmer for his station next.

Then shoot whomever decided their high tech military organization should use imperial instead of metric.

This episode reminded me of why Tessa is and remains my favourite character in the franchise.

Loved the opening and ending vids.

The future characters in the opening theme though.

ARX-7 Arbalest is back.

Definitely love the ED. I’m very impressed with Xebec (and the IG Port studios) delivering really good animation. Bringing all that nostalgia back.

EDIT: I can see why this show was delayed. Apparently Xebec and Production IG delayed this show to fine tune and make the show look even better. Hopefully this show was originally 2-cours and IG Port decided to split it into two single cours.

FULL METAL PANIC! Invisible Victory EP 1 “Zero Hour”

FMP still exciting even in with a lot of other good anime this season.Great animation

I like how Sosuke / Chidori seem more mature

There is certainly bo sibling love between Tessa and Leonard especially L who offers a chance to some with him She refuses

Then Amalgam does all kind of electronic jamming and attacking Milthril bases

Sousuke / Chidori are waiting to be taken away by helicopter but too late they are surrounded

FULL METAL PANIC! Invisible Victory EP 2 “Damage Control”

Pretty violent / I thought the car chase was lees than stellar animation

What an attack om Tessa forces / The Helio is destroyed but ARX-7 Arbalest survies ans Sosuke uses it to escape however Chidori's friends are takren hostage Kyoko Tokiwa

OP /ED are good

Opening Theme:"Even...if" by Tamaru Yamada

Ending Theme:"yes" by Tamaru Yamada

Episode 3

After last week's episode showcased all the chaos going on at Sousuke's end, this one focuses on what's going on at the island as it has come under attack. Speck bites the dust to help Kurz take down that giant mecha, and then Castello goes down to allow Mao to escape. With Mitrhil overwhelmed, Tessa decides to abandon the island, but Kurz just keeps on fighting. The situation just keeps on swelling up there as after everything that happened around Sousuke, things aren't much better on Mithril's end.

I gotta respect Kurz this episode. What a brave guy.

The episode was nice with with the action and psychology. My only complaint is the CG but I'm starting to get used to it by now. I like how Sousuke tries to bring hope for Kaname even though she is still scared. The one I felt sorry the most for this mess so far is Kaname's classmate for getting into this mess.
